"Trevligt hotell med personlig service. Och mycket trevligt bemötande. Duschutrymmet inte funktionellt. Duschdraperiet fastnade på kroppen. Och vatten spreds ut över hela golvet. Balkongen med havsutsikt var toppen, men för liten och för nära inpå balkongen bredvid. Ingen privat känsla pga det. Förövrigt mycket välstädat och byte av handukar varje dag. AC levde om med för kraftigt ljud. Annars bra kyla. Kallt kylskåp.Det gillade vi. Överlag ett bra hotell och vi kommer att bo där igen. "

"We had a wonderful romantic stay at this beautiful hotel with absolutely stunning views. The sun lights up the place from morning through afternoon, making it the perfect spot to relax. The staff treated us like royalty—breakfast was even served on our balcony, which made for a truly special start to each day. "The views from the hotel are breathtaking! The location is perfect for enjoying all of Syros, especially Asteria Beach. If you want loungers at Asteria, reserve in advance. We had two sea view rooms in the historic building for three nights. The staff was friendly and always helpful. The bar was great for drinks before going to dinner and the breakfast each morning was delicious. The mattresses were stiff, which is the only minor complaint. Highly recommend!"

"Excellent location, literary 30 seconds walk from the harbour. Room was compact but we had everything we needed. Shower drain needs improving, water very slow to drain after two showers. Being located on the ground floor next to the front door we experienced noise of guests coming in and out at night. Breakfast buffet was small but excellent quality with à la carte egg dishes also available. 15 mins complimentary massage in the spa was a nice touch and the WhatsApp concierge service was a life saver for organising taxis and beach club bookings."

"We were welcomed to the beautiful, restored townhouse that is Hotel Ploes, by its owner, Lina and her little dog. Nothing was too much trouble, from the provision of information about Syros to phoning taxis for us. Her restaurant recommendations were excellent, as was her very worthwhile recommendation to visit the town's art gallery which was exhibiting some of the work of the famous Greek sculptor, Theodoros Papagiannis. Her authored novel, Konstantza, Tales of Vaporia - provided in our room at the beginning of our stay and gifted to us at the end - managed to blend a fictional story with the history of the island and, in particular, the area of Vaporia, along with the careful renovation of the building that has become Hotel Ploes. It added to the enjoyment of our stay (26-29 June 2026). Our room - sea facing with a large terrace and situated at the top of the hotel - was scrupulously clean, as was the hotel in general. The beautiful decor throughout reflected the building's sympathetic restoration. All staff were courteous and helpful and the breakfasts were generous and of good quality. "Our suite was amazing! Very beautiful and very clean. Konstantinos ,the owner , was there to welcome us and give useful information about the island! A very kind and friendly person! I highly recommend it for its beauty, cleanliness , amenities and location. It is in the heart of the centre of Ermoupolis. I think it is the best choice for you to stay in the island."
