Perfect Family Getaway

Such a beautiful home! Nice and secluded from the urban SoCal area. Family was able to enjoy San Diego, then retire in a nice spacious villa.

Excellent place and the host was fantastic

The property was fantastic and Bob bent over backwards to make sure that we loved the place. It was about 1 mile from the grocery store and 15 minutes to the beach with a majestic view.

Incredible house with phenomenal views

The property was incredible, the pool and hot tub were really nice. We had a group of 22 adults and Bob made the check-in process incredibly easy. Lots of space with enough beds for everyone. Would definitely rent again!

Beautiful place

This is a beautiful home with great outdoor spaces for fun and relaxing. Lots for kids to do. Pool was delightful. Bob is very friendly and responsive and he is quick to act on anything you need.

Beautiful property near La Costa

Great venue to enjoy the north San Diego area for my family & friends. Isolated property gave us a peaceful and relaxing 2 weeks in the foothills. Property was as described. Pool was as clean as I have had as a rental .Definitely recommend.

An amazing adventure

The ranch was amazing!! Accommodations were better than a hotel and bob and his family are great people . Went in the pool Jacuzzi we had catering service we also went horseback riding and hiking every day is amazing We will recommend it to anyone and everyone we are coming back .

STUNNING PROPERTY!!!

We had the best time at this beautiful property. With 7 bedrooms, everyone was extremely comfortable. Tons of games both inside and outside. The most incredible views both day and night! The owners were extremely hospitable and helpful!! Can't wait to come back again!!!

Amazing

Overall our stay with multiple families was perfect! Bob was extremely accommodating and did everything he could to make our stay just right! The ranch is absolutely beautiful with so many activities for both kids and adults. The house is extremely clean and a great getaway for a large group with or without kids! I would highly recommend this place and we will hopefully be back next summer!

Beautiful Family Weekend

We had a wonderful time. The house is beautiful and the host, Bob, is super nice and easy to work with. We had a great horseback riding lesson, swam in the pool, played pool and arcade games. Very very comfortable beds. And Bob’s wife is an excellent photographer so we had family pictures taken. We would stay here again. The view is outstanding.

Great vacation!

We had a great vacation with our quarantine buddies. We had a group of 9 adults and 6 kids and the way the house is spaced out it was perfect. It also has great common area so we can all come together. The pool was great too. The kids and adults all had a blast. We highly recommend this location for a larger group. Bob is easy to work with and has great stories. We hope to come back.

Perfect Vacation Venue

Our family of 19 recently celebrated our 50th. wedding anniversary at this lovely ranch property. Everything suited our various needs - from the pool area to the spacious and well appointed comfy house, supervised horseback riding, hiking trails and interesting local activities. We would return anytime and highly recommend both the property and most hospitable host. This property well exceeded our expectations.

Beautiful San Diego destination

We spent a week in this spectacular home in mid May. The house is spacious and open. Huge family room with views of the mountains, gourmet kitchen and comfortable bedrooms make it a pleasure to stay in. It is walking distance to hiking trails and a mile into the center of town. The unique surroundings offer lots of activities for children and adults. I would highly recommend this property whether its business or a romantic escape.

Great views and hospitality!

The property was fantastic! Bob was a very communicative and enthusiastic host. He provided us with lots of info and details on the house and activities. He gave a great deal to stay at the house for a couple extra days. He cared about his guests and making sure all the aspects of the property were sufficient for us! Great heated pool and jacuzzi, and beautiful patio! Amazing experience overall.

Outstanding Vacation Home! We Loved It!

My wife and I flew our children (and spouses in from Alaska, Colorado, and Maryland to celebrate our 50th Wedding Anniversary. The home exceeded our expectations from the horseback rides for the grandchildren to the many bedrooms which accommodated. Bob was a wonderful host, always responding to any text questions we asked within minutes. He also had suggestions of where to eat and where the best best beaches for the grandchildren were. We loved our stay and plan to return for other family vacations.

Horse country charm

This property offers the best of both worlds ! A rambling estate in a serene setting yet only about a half hour to the beach so that you can enjoy all that southern CA has to offer. Our grandkids loved being able to see and feed horses, climb on the playground and swing on the tree swings. And the pool area and other entertainment areas were just perfect . Bob was very attentive and accommodating and the property truly had everything we needed to enjoy a wonderful family vacation!

Amazing ranch resort!

This amazing ranch resort tucked away in the hills of elfin forest was a spectacular mix of Resort, retreat, ranch, and estate. This home acomadated the needs of all 14 of my business group with its stunning view nice roomy interior and a amazing hiking trails and good areas to hangout in like the pool or he patio. The estate was only 9 min. From the beach and close to fine dining and at the ranch there was nice sunsets and rises that you could peer upon for miles.

Superb!

Fantastic property and owners. Beautiful spacious estate overlooking the hills with a wonderful pool and hot tub. Plenty of room for our guests. Owners Bob and Dylan were prompt, polite, and always accommodating. Nearby horses were a big plus! There’s a small town just a few minutes drive with grocery store, a Starbucks, and a few restaurants. This was a superb getaway for my old medical school friends and I, and we recommend you get in touch with Bob and book this place right away!

Awesome house

Bob has an awesome house and was great to work with. We had a group of 16 people and there were enough real beds for everyone. Usually you find houses that say they sleep 16 but that means everyone is a couple! The house was super clean, beds comfortable and the pool and hot tub were incredibly nice to come home to! Would love to stay again.

Great for a big group

We used the Ranch for a huge family reunion, and it was just right: Lots of hangout spaces of various sizes (some big enough for the whole group), an inviting pool and spa, and reasonable proximity to the beach and the city. It's occasionally rough around the edges and could use a bit of maintenance, but overall comfortable, functional and well-equipped. The pros vastly outweigh the cons. Highly recommended.
