20 feet from flowing lava just may be the top experience of my life. If you are in Guatemala and whether you consider yourself a hiker or not, climbing Pacaya is a must. I would even consider going multiple times because the mountain changes on a daily basis (even second by second). Where you hike one day may be covered by lava flows then next day and you'd have to take a completely different route. Try looking in a crater if allowable on that day,
