“While the room was excellent in terms of both space and amenities, the lack of communication regarding check-in was very frustrating. I had to call Expedia before the property finally texted me which room I was in and the access code. Good thing that the weather was nice while I waited around for almost 30 minutes before I could get into my room. I've never had this type of issue before with a virtual front desk.”

“The property pool was closed, but I was never notified to be given a chance to cancel my reservation. One of the main reasons I close the Hotel was due to having a pool because my grandson requested to stay at a hotel with a pool. Expedia has tried to reach out to the property. Multiple times on my behalf, and no one has been responding for almost a week. They have very poor customer service.”

“Overall this hotel had lots of old fashion appeal. Once we received our key to our room. We went up and found that one of the beds had clearly not been changed. And they had to move us to another room. I have never had that happen before. So that was very strange. The next room was very nice.”

“The check in area was clean and decorated very nice; made it very welcoming. The staff members were very friendly and helpful. Check in was easy. The breakfast was nice and food was hot. Our room was a huge disappointment and not as described online. It was outdated; could have been cleaner, furniture had stains on it; the shower doors leaked; the bathroom door looked as if it had water damage on the bottom and the door was dirty; the bathroom sink soap dispensers had hair on them like after a……

“Close to everything, overall a good hotel, would recommend, but, our hotel room did have an odd smell to it, which came from the carpets, but legit, everything besides that was splendid. View from pool is epic!”

“The location was in a more quiet location than the Hampton over in Duluth and less expensive. Rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast left a lot to be desired.”
