On the lake, short walk to town, surrounded by wildlife bar and restaurant at the hotel is great, nice to have a private hot tub and fireplace, would be great any time of year, close to RMNP
My family and I had the opportunity to stay in Estes Park; the cabin was beautiful, very comfortable and quiet. In short we had a relaxing, memorable weekend. We’ll be back for sure!
The cabin was nice being near the lake was awesome ! The elk and mule deer walked right thru the property it was neat ! The only thing i wish the cabin had were some box fans but overall excellent !
Enchanting Winter Bliss: A 5-Star Escape at Elk Haven Lodge in Estes, Colorado
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We had the most enchanting Christmas and New Year's holiday at Elk Haven Lodge in Estes, Colorado. This cozy retreat became the backdrop for countless cherished memories as my partner and I celebrated the festivities surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of Colorado.
Colorado holds a special place in our hearts, and Cabin 20 amplified that sentiment. From the moment we stepped through the door, it felt like we were stepping into a winter wonderland filled with warmth and joy. The cabin exuded a magical ambiance, creating the perfect setting for new chapters to unfold in our lives.
What made our stay even more remarkable was the pet-friendly environment. Our furry companion was welcomed with open arms, making the experience truly complete. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, making our holiday stay even more delightful.
If you're searching for a place that seamlessly combines peace and comfort, look no further. Elk Haven is a gem in the heart of Estes, offering a magical retreat for anyone seeking a special getaway. We recommend it to fellow travelers and can't wait to return to create even more unforgettable moments.
Thank you for making our holiday season truly magical!
Warm regards,
Beth
Elk Haven was 'heavenly' for a Rocky Mountain Park trip. The cabin was spotless, provided every amenity you could want or need, the location is close to both main entry points to the park, and within walking distance to several restaurants in Estes Park....the Ember's is excellent and just a few steps from the front door. With views of the mountains, hot tub, and patios, it quickly became a favorite home away from home in this beautiful area.
This cabin/home was the best place we have stayed at in Estes Park! It was beautifully appointed and had every amenity. The hot tub and outdoor fireplace provided a perfect opportunity to rest after a long day of hiking. The location was great- we walked to town to get coffee and to go shopping and dinner most nights. I would absolutely stay here again!
Nice cabin. Love the outdoor fireplace. Saw a beautiful herd of elk. Great walk around the lake. Property management was great with communication. I would definitely stay here again.
Very nice property! Management company is very easy to work with. We called to extend a day and they were quick to respond and very nice. I honestly cannot think of one thing we were unhappy with. Will definitely be staying here again next year.
We stayed at the cabin with our 2 teenage daughters and 2 dogs. The cabin is absolutely gorgeous and was extremely clean and inviting. Kitchen was stocked with all the essentials and we loved the entire setup. Spending evenings and mornings in the hot tub with the outdoor fireplace was our favorite.
We live nearby and plan on returning in the near future!
This cabin is phenomenal! Our family of 7 stayed here for five nights, and it completely exceeded our expectations. The cabin had plenty of room for everyone in our family. It was beautifully furnished, super clean, well-stocked with the basics (laundry detergent, dish soap, paper products), laid out beautifully, was quiet and private, and in a great location right next to Lake Estes. We loved the giant picture windows that look down over the lake and up at the mountains. We would sit with our coffee every morning and watch bald eagles fly right overhead from these windows, often times with small fish in their talons. There is a small playground down by the lake - within walking distance to the cabin - where we would take the kids every evening before dinner to let them run around. The marina is right there too, where you can rent paddle boats and bicycles by the hour. The walking path around the lake was wonderful for strolling with the kids and dogs. The hot tub out on the back deck was so clean, and so much fun to have. We used it every single day! The staff on the property were all very nice and helpful in answering any questions we had. We didn't intend on spending a ton of time at the cabin, but we ended up enjoying it so much that we probably spent most of our time there. We even cooked almost all of our meals there. Our family loved this cabin and the resort property on which it's located so much that we hope to make an annual trek to stay there. We literally cannot wait to return!!
