“This is a unique property spread over several acres of vineyards. There are multiple units to choose from & we stayed in the cottage. This was a lovely independent stone cottage overlooking the sea with a loft bedroom, kitchen and living room. It was a very special stay during our time on Madeira & we can’t recommend it enough. We had dinner at their restaurant - which was phenomenal & your stay also includes a wonderful breakfast buffet with lots of choices. There are two lovely pools that……

“My spouse and I stayed here for a 10 day honeymoon trip and would gladly return. Location was very convenient, the house was very clean and had great amenities- the laundry room was a big plus and we enjoyed the view from the upstairs balcony. The extra dining/kitchen space was amazing, and would be great if you’re traveling with family/a group ”

“We used this as out base to explore the island by car. It was ideal as it was so close to the centre of Funchal, and easy to get in and out of to visit other places by car. Some reviews mention the homeless people who were occasionally in the doorway, but they could not have been more friendly and apologetic when we asked to get to the door (they even lit the key hole up with their phones for us!)

“The staff were incredibly accommodating and very giving of their time in making suggestions and recommendations. The daily room service was outstanding. The restaurant staff were friendly and engaging. Overall a terrific hotel in a perfect location close to the old city and the harbor front.”
