The Three House Hotel is a glow up to a Madeira experience. As a destination the importance of the cruise community, the frequent visitors and the role Funchal has played in retirement plans, it has not been a forefront plan for me or most of my pal.. The hotel, the offer and the location to the action changed everything on whats is on offer in this wonderful place. This design forward spot is home to a set of wonderful aparthotel suites that allow a resident neighbourhood feel to the break. Sat next to an amazing market, full of vibrancy and everything on your doorstep. From the moment i walked in, I knew this was a place for me. A very warm welcome, wonderful room and one of the best hotel rooftop bars and pools I have ever been too. I would 100% reccomend this to those that like to take a different, more neighbourhood based, local and access to the alternative and refined in Funchal. Thanks to all the wonderful team down and upstairs for making this a superb break.

Although the decor is a little “quirky” we found the Three House Hotel excellent. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful, the location is super convenient, car park extra useful when hiring a car, near the cable car, next to the old town. The list goes on and one. The apartment itself is spacious and well fitted out, mainly with SMEG kit which includes food processing for those who actually want to cook in rather than go out, so you can really make yourself at home. Rooftop bar comes alive at night and provides private pool during the day. A superb base from which to explore.

The most wonderful little apartment, with luxury appliances and the best bed ever! Rooftop pool, lounge area in the middle of bustling Funchal, seemed like Shangrila, a little bubble of peacefulness and amazing views. Rooftop bar with live music at night is a pleasure and serves fantastic cocktails and bbq! Would love to come again, booking a year in advance is totally worth it!

Everything is clean and comfortable and the staff and management are very friendly and helpful. It’s a great location near the Old Town area where you feel like you’re a part of the Funchal experience in every good way!

We’ve had a lovely stay at our three house home for 4 nights. The service was really great and we felt so welcome from the moment we’ve arrived with first of all a tour around the hotel and our appartment, our host gave us some great advice on good restaurants, walks and other things to know to have the best time in Madeira. We stayed in touch for all our needs via Whatsapp which was super convenient. We will defenitely return! P.S the friday pinchos on the hotel rooftrop where sooo delicious, you should try them. Thanks a lot for making our stay so wonderful!
