「Beautiful hotel and grounds! Friendly and helpful staff, delicious food! A wonderful all inclusive experience. We had a beautiful room with an extra large balcony with partial view. Room was always cleaned daily and towels changed. We enjoyed the location, the ample parking and the grounds. Kids enjoyed the heated pool and we all enjoyed the buffet, kulinarium restaurant and the evening shows. We are already planning our next trip there! Thank you for a beautiful holiday week Riu Madeira! 」

I especially enjoyed the breakfast buffet. Extensive choice and continuously replenished. The indoor pool and spa were very enjoyable. Special thanks to the hotel for taking the trouble to post some items left in the room, back to the UK. 」

「Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen. Um es freundlich zu formulieren: es ist eine stilistische Zeitreise in die 70er/80er.🙂 Das Frühstücksbuffet hat mich dagegen sehr positiv überrascht - sehr reichhaltig mit verschiedenen Brotsorten, Obst, Gemüse. Einzig die Nescafé-Kaffeemaschine finde ich unpassend. Frisch gebrüht und am Tisch serviert bevorzuge ich da eher.」

「Hotel very nice, good location, mostly friendly staff, breakfast good, buffet lunch very poor, buffet dinner poor, food not of good quality, meats either overcooked, left too long or tough plus poor choice, chicken and pasta every lunch and dinner time. Run out of Breakfast Tea last two days. Italian restaurant was good, did not try Botanical restaurant as Menu was not appealing. Do not consider a five star hotel 」
