「I loved the rooftop bar which has spectacular views over Funchal and a great selection of drinks and light meals. Happy Hour was always a favourite!. The UVA restaurant is well worth a visit and offers a good price/quality ratio. The staff are efficient, cheerful and friendly. I have no real downers - may be the turn down service was earlier than expected but I'm nitpicking here.」

「Due to glitch in the reservation system, the hotel was overbook. We were transported by hotel's shuttle to their other property Hotel Quinta Mirabella. Beautiful hotel with excellent views. Every was perfect there.Little bit further from the centre of Funchal, but the hotel provided the shuttle few times per day. There was also bus stop around the corner - very convenient .」
