“Excellent location in an area slightly removed from the busy touristy areas. Short walk to the waterfront. Large, bright apartment. Very comfortable.”

“The apartment is cosy and clean; perfectly located close to many amenieties (shops, restaurnats, ATMs, pools, public transport...) and fairly easy to access. A personal parking spot was a huge bonus. The apartment was fully equipped with everything we could need. The only issue was the lack of air conditioning. The fan that the appartement is equipped with wasnt helping much with the heat.”

“Nice property but it’s definitely seen better days. On the plus side, the apartment is spacious, has covered parking and has newer, well-functioning appliances. On the downside, the back porch floor was covered in water as there was an old seal in the window. The bathroom door/lock combo was hanging on by a single loose screw. One of the sliding doors wouldn’t lock properly so maintenance had to come and fix it. The hallways of the building are crumbling a bit and detract from the overall……

“Our experience was fantastic, plenty of space in the room and the view was incredible. Cannot beat the price for what you get. 15 mins from Funchal and 10 to the airport made everything super convenient, Santa Cruz was charming and being a little bit out of the city for a little less chaos was nice. Staff was excellent and very quick to communicate. Only negative I would say was the directions provided for key pickup took us to a location a bit down the hill from the office but we were able to……

“Appartement is keurig met een mooi uitzicht. Met auto goed te bereiken maar lopend een flinke inspanning. Rustige omgeving met weinig verkeer. We gaan er zo weer heen maar dan wel met een auto want lopend pfffff.”

“Mittelmäßiges Zimmer was sehr in die Jahre gekommen ist. Toilettenspülungen kaputt! Key kaputt und man hatte nur 1 Schlüssel . Dafür war die Lage ok . Klimaanlage war kaputt .”

“If you want to be an easy walking distance to the market, the seaside, great restaurants, the cable car, etc., you cannot find a better apartment than this one in Zona Velma! It is a simple apartment that was comfortable and clean. Small kitchen for preparing simple meals. Sea view from kitchen window. Nice balcony with a pretty street view. I did not find the street very noisy. I would recommend this apartment for a great Funchal experience! ”

“Man hört die Flugzeuge sehr. Uns hat es aber nicht gestört. Ansonsten ist die Unterkunft sehr groß, es gibt alles, was man braucht. Die Kommunikation und die Sauberkeit sind auf sehr hohem Niveau. ”
