“We were welcomed and given a tour of the historic hotel by the front desk upon arrival. The room upgrade was to a suite overlooking the bay. The room, bed, and bath were clean and comfortable. A small gift arrived each day of our stay. The 1891 Bar proved to be an excellent alternative as we preferred early and smaller dinners. The Christmas brunch had excellent food options; it was a buffet next to the pools. The staff were most helpful on check out, holding our luggage until our rental car……

“Sehr ruhige Zimmer hintenraus. Angenehmes Personal, immer freundlich. Die Lage ist hervorragend, um Funchal zu erkunden. Restaurants und Geschäfte in der Nähe. Auch eigenes Parkhaus und Parkplätze im Hotel kostenlos zur Nutzung vorhanden. Hotel direkt an einem Einkaufszentrum angeschlossen.”
