“All inclusive. What else can be said?! Great location. Outside of the city but that’s exactly what we wanted. A couple great hikes in the surrounding areas. Just a very pleasant and perfect situation!”

“We had a great experience at the Savoy, its beautiful and staff was very friendly and helpful. Most importantly, its location is perfect, easy to explore surrounding attractions. Breakfast was excellent, with great variety. Staff were super good. Will definitely recommend it highly.”

“Pros: modern hotel which opened relatively recently so everything looks new; lovely spa/ gym and sauna area. We went twice and were the only people there - maybe because it was still low season; great balcony space; big walk in shower; overall, a nice boutique feel to the hotel. But the reason why I’ve given it only three stars is because the attitude of most of the staff we encountered was so awful! Cons: poor cleaning service. We only stayed three nights but twice we had to ask for someone……

“Das ganze Hotel war sauber, das Personal war sehr aufmerksam, wenn doch mal was daneben ging. Das Personal, vor allem im Restaurant war sehr aufmerksam. Das wars aber auch schon mit positiven Erfahrungen. Essen könnte besser sein, da ist man von RIU anderes gewöhnt. Der Innenpool ist Miniklein und schließt zudem 18:00 Uhr...was soll denn der Quatsch??? Auch der Außenpool konnte nach 18:00 Uhr nicht mehr benutzt werden. Heizung stand auf Winterbetrieb, keine klimaanlage möglich. Nachts……

“I can’t rave enough about this hotel!! Parking included, fantastic and knowledgeable staff, unbelievable brunch/breakfast and the room was just outstanding. Reception was so patient with all my questions. Female staff really spent time with me and gave me the best advice. I really wish I remembered her name but she is exceptionally good at her role. I do wish there was a bottle opener in the room instead of having to get it from the front desk but that’s a small suggestion. ”

“The hotel is located near the coast and near a majority of attractions in Funchal. Our stay here was nice and comfortable with no real highlights or lowlights to speak of, and that is a compliment, we admired the cozy painless experience. The outdoor pool was absolutely freezing with the outdoor temperature being 20 degrees, though that was more due to the breeze. The rooftop bar is quite nice and cozy to chill at after a day out in the city !”

“We spent a wonderful week in Madeira and had an amazing stay at this hotel. Everything was perfect and the hotel had absolutely everything needed for a comfortable and relaxing vacation. The breakfast was rich, fresh with plenty of great options. The rooftop bar was also incredible beautiful atmosphere and the perfect place to relax in the evening. What truly made our stay special, though, was the staff. Every single person was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and hospitable. They made us feel……
