Gut gelegenes Hotel und Fußläufig zur Innenstadt nach Funchal rein. Zur Autovermietung SIXT ist es auch nicht weit. Die Schiffe stören auch nicht wenn man das Zimmer zur Stadt hat, hat man das Zimmer zum Wasser und ein Schiff ist da, schaut man direkt darauf. Entweder man mag es, oder nicht. 😀 Frühstück ist auch sehr gut und das Abendessen können wir auch empfehlen.

Tout d'abord, les points positifs : 1) Le petit-déjeuner offre un excellent choix au buffet et un service à la commande. Les omelettes sont excellentes ! 2) L'accueil et la gentillesse du personnel. 3) La vue depuis la terrasse de la piscine sur le port et la ville. 4) La promenade facile et agréable de 15 minutes jusqu'à la ville et ses bons restaurants. 5) Le parking souterrain est facile d'accès, mais aucune réduction n'est proposée aux clients de l'hôtel, soit 15 euros par jour. Points négatifs : 1) Le bruit. Les chambres paires sont proches de la route, l'une des principales voies d'accès à Funchal. Certains se plaignent du bruit du casino, situé en haut de la colline, mais je pense que ce n'est pas aussi gênant qu'il y paraît. Les chambres impaires donnent sur le port, ce qui offre une vue intéressante. Mais les chambres à partir de la 125e se trouvent au-dessus de la terrasse d'un bar-restaurant indépendant de l'hôtel. Extrêmement fréquenté et bruyant, il est ouvert jusqu'à tard, jusqu'au petit matin, le week-end, semble-t-il. Les clients parlent fort par-dessus la musique d'ambiance et leurs enfants courent et crient. C'est parfait pour eux… mais pas si vous essayez de dormir… Les chambres de la 101e à la 125e devraient être plus confortables. Malheureusement… ce n'est pas sous le contrôle de l'hôtel…

Das Zimmer war nicht sauber, es hatte noch Haare am Boden im WC. Weiter ist das Zimmer sehr Dunkel, aufgrund von schlechter Beleuchtung und dass man die Vorhänge geschlossen halten muss da jeder hineinsehen kann wenn man aussen durchgeht. Personal ist freundlich und Hilfsbereit. Das Bett ist sehr schlecht und nebenann ist ein Club welcher sehr laut ist. Kurz gesagt bin ich entäuscht und das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt nicht.

Superb hospitality with one of the best I have seen in Europe, pleasant and friendly staff. The location of the hotel is not only at walking distance to all major sightseeing in Funchal, but also have tour operator options nearby and within the hotel itself. The central location makes it quite easy and convenient to commute with the public transport nearby. The rooms are also spacious with perfect Ocean view to grace your vacation everyday. The breakfast had a wide variety of food selection with also a possibility for customized preference. The hotel also had an option to get a breakfast package incase someone would like to leave early in morning for sightseeing. The area is also very safe to roam around and go for walks around after sunset.

Hotel was very run down, the room didn't feel very clean. When going in and out of the hotel the staff don't greet you. At the bar it takes over 15 minutes for them to acknowledge you. The only friendly staff were some of the cleaners who greeted you when you walked past. We stayed for 4 nights and 2 of those nights we couldn't use the roof terrace as they had private parties. There is loud music playing all night until around 2am coming from the front of the hotel every day. The beds are very uncomfortable they wobble even if you just lean on it. We had breakfast included in our stay however the food and layout of it looked extremely unappetising. After researching about the hotel and everywhere saying that you get free entry to the museu. That is infact not true and you do have to pay. Overall very disappointed in this hotel. Considering that all other cr7 hotels look beautiful and well looked after. And the one that is in Ronaldo's home is the worst of them all. Unfortunately its the worse hotel i have ever stayed in.

Beautiful: great location but a bit loud

As a former GM of a few hotels. I will say it was an enjoyable stay. The design of the property with all its natural light and views is amazing: the breakfast was impressive with such great variety with both cold and warm foods. The coffee machine/area could use signage staying the pods are in the drawer below. The portion size of the wine was so minimal I had to send it back to increase the volume to 6oz. The room was very clean. Housekeeping was wonderful. The room is not lit well with only one small overhead light at the entrance. My room was 104. It was basically next to the outdoor pool and bar area. Every night ( 4 in total) the music/party was loud and difficult to sleep. I did not ask to be moved, but probably should have had. Again, overall an excellent stay. I want to recognize both Marcus and Hugo for their excellent service. Marcus, who checked me in was kind, thoughtful and took time to inform me of an excellent seafood restaurant:

Gegenüber vom Hotel ist ein Night Club und es finden auch Open Air Festivals ganz in der Nähe statt. Donnerstags hört man nachts Musik, freitags ist es laut und samstags ist es so ein unerträglicher Lärm, dass ich als Stressreaktion meines Körpers Herzrasen bekommen habe. Es ist so laut, dass Ohrstöpsel überhaupt nicht helfen. Der Bass ist so stark im Hotelzimmer zu spüren, die Musik läuft bis in die frühen Morgenstunden und ein DJ redet ins Mikrofon die ganze Zeit lang nur Quatsch. Wer nachts Ruhe und Entspannung sucht, ist in diesem Hotel auf jeden Fall falsch. Wenn, dann würde ich im CR7 nur zwischen Sonntag und Mittwoch übernachten. Eventuell auch noch donnerstags, aber definitiv nicht am Wochenende. Das Frühstück fand ich für ein 4* Sterne Hotel unspektakulär bis mager. Jeden Tag gab es das gleiche. Das Personal stellt die Sachen täglich nur an eine andere Stelle damit man sich morgens aufs Neue zurecht finden muss. Mir hat die Kapselmaschine aus Umweltgründen nicht gefallen. Der Umgang des Hotels mit Beschwerden fand ich mangelhaft. Die Dame an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich, aber sagte wegen dem Lärm, dass der Hotelmanager dafür zuständig sei. Ich soll am nächsten Tag um 11 Uhr wiederkommen. Da hatte ich aber eine Tour gebucht. Mir gefiel es nicht, dass von mir als Hotelgast erwartet wird, dass ich zu einer vom Hotel bestimmten Uhrzeit erscheinen soll, um über eine Problemlösung zu sprechen.

Personnel de l'hôtel très agréable. Prix de l'hôtel en revanche très excessif pour les prestations. Très bon petit déjeuner. Jacuzzi fermé à deux reprises, Sauna fermé à deux reprises également. Piscine agréable et jolie. Attention ! Boîte de nuit rooftop à côté de l'hôtel du coup les chambres côtés rue se retrouvent avec un bruit enorme impossible de dormir (sans exagération). L'hôtel subit cette situation, ils ont contacté la police mais ne peuvent pas faire beaucoup plus car ils sont en conflit avec la boîte depuis un moment pour faire cesser cela ...). Heureusement le personnel de l'hôtel est au top et nous avons eu une chambre vue mer (côté calme pour le reste du séjour). Mais si l'hôtel avait été complet pendant la totalité du séjour nous aurions pu vivre un enfer sans pouvoir changer de chambre dans je préfère prévenir quand même afin d'éviter de gâcher un séjour si un changement de chambre est impossible.
