Great service all the way, including clean room/room servise, staff, provided meals, outdoor pools, parking and other great amenities. And the amazing view speaks for itself. Great place to stay and enjoy the well-deserved vocation.

This resort is in an excellent location for tourists. Half way between the airport and the major city of Funchal. The views are stunning. The staff friendly and very pleasant. The food choices were vast and delicious. We signed up for the all inclusive and it was well worth it. Lots of great excursions, hikes, adventures, dining and shopping.

Ocean view with balcony , was disappointed there was almost no local fruits and foods . Rooms were very clean , nice bathrooms , but hallways you could see lots of dust and dirt . Pool area great well maintained clean .

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Riu Madeira Palace in October. The staff was lovely and so efficient. The property is gorgeous and I can’t think of one thing we wished for. The food was great. As a Celiac the buffet was clearly labeled and I felt confident making choices and ate a variety without getting sick. The self serve coffee and beverages made morning sunrises a favorite. The views are spectacular and the are made for lovely walks. We would go back in a heartbeat.

Nous avons passé une semaine fantastique ! Bien sûr, l’île de Madère elle-même est superbe. La localisation de l’hôtel est parfaite: directement près de l’océan (nous entendions même les vagues de notre chambre!), à proximité de la ville de Funchal (navette gratuite). Les chambres avec balcon sont très agréables et le balcon nous a permis de profiter du bruit des vagues et de la vue malgré la pluie. Les repas étaient excellents et variés et le personnel était toujours souriant, agréable et efficace! Des vacances parfaites pour célébrer notre anniversaire! Nous reviendrons certainement!

★★★★★ Exceptional Hospitality at RIU Madeira! We had a wonderful experience at RIU Madeira Resort! We arrived at the hotel before 9 AM, and even though our room wasn't ready yet, the staff warmly welcomed us and allowed us to enjoy the resort's amenities and breakfast right away. What impressed us even more was the flexibility on our departure day. Since our flight wasn't until 10 PM, we were allowed to continue enjoying the resort's facilities, relaxing, and having snacks even after checking out. This level of hospitality and flexibility made our stay so much more comfortable and enjoyable. The staff truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. For this exceptional hospitality alone, RIU Madeira deserves five stars! Highly recommended!
