“Es ist ein sehr idyllisches kleines Häuschen mit einer atemberaubenden Aussicht. Leider aber doch schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen aber es ist alles da was man braucht bis auf eine Heizung und ausreichend heißes Wasser. Das Café dass erwähnt wird , auch zum Einchecken ist nicht vorhanden!!!!!! Ist zur Zeit eine riesen Baustelle, könnte man bitte in der Beschreibung aktualisieren. Wir hätten aber alle 4 Personen einen schönen Aufenthalt. Danke auch an Jose für den schönen Blumenstrauß der bei……

“Lovely house in a quiet neighbourhood with glorious views over Funchal. Very well equipped. Comfortable beds. Very close to a cafe / bakery and small supermarket. About 15 minutes' walk downhill to the Old Town, with plenty of excellent places to eat (but get the bus or a taxi back if you're not fit, as it's uphill all the way!). Really good communications from the owner, and a helpful guided tour on arrival. Already looking forward to a return visit”

“ Great place to stay. very clean, well equipped, beautiful upper deck. Host quick to responsed and helpful. Should be more outfront about lack of parking and the long hike into residence. Also stated 20 minute walk to beach and store, where it is not at all possible to walk. ”

“Wir waren zu Dritt in diesem wundervollen Haus. Der Aufenthalt war toll. Am Tag sind wir viel gewandert und am Abend in der Nähe zu Fuß, etwa 500 m, hatten wir viel Auswahl mit dem Abendessen. Das Städtchen Santa Cruz war wunderschön mit Lichtern weihnachtlich geschmückt. Das war bis jetzt unsere Beste Unterkunft und wir sind seit 20 Jahren jedes Jahr unterwegs. “Communication with the host was a challenge. I asked for simple things like soap and towels and she responded by saying one bottle of soap was enough for 3 bathrooms and 1 bathroom towel per person was enough for 6 days. The door to the pool was hard to open and the host showed me how to open but made me feel like I should have been able to figure that out.
