「Really friendly front desk staff and very helpful as well. Breakfast outside overlooking Funchal and the sea was lovely. Beautiful garden. Could use some updates but generally very nice. Was there for five nights and it felt like home.」

「If you want sleep and peace after a long journey, this is not your place, doors slamming all hours furniture scraping on the ceiling. Two encounters with combative staff. Don’t forget to take your room towel to the pool, you won’t be given another and have to go ALL the way back to your room to get them!! Very rude front desk member asked why we didn’t take ours when we asked for pool towels, there were no signs that the towels in the room were needed for the pool! Then at breakfast be prepped...
