The property is absolutely ideal for those who want a slightly larger apartment, not just a room. It gives you more freedom, for example no breakfast rules, just go out on the balcony and have your coffee with a beautiful sunrise every day. There is a small, but well equipped kitchen with a washing machine (yay, less clothes to take with you!). It's a 30 minute walk to the centre of Funchal. Close to supermarkets, cafes/restaurants and the promenades, public beaches. A good starting point for any hike.

We were met at the apartment by Victor after communicating via WhatsApp to confirm a time. This was our second visit to this apartment, it is well maintained and very comfortable with everything you need. The bed is large but quite firm with plenty of blankets available. The balcony has a great view with good chairs. The lighting in the apartment is all led and a little dim for reading in the evening, the kitchen lighting also needs to be brighter. Overall a well located place to stay although do expect some traffic noise as it is on a fairly busy road.
