Has a washer and dryer that do not dry to north american standards, you have to leave clothes out on the patio, but that is like every place we have rented in Portugal so far. A high end dining road with numerous restaurants including a Michelin two star, but also with more reasonable options, is a block away……

“The apartment is immaculate, very well decorated and has an incredible view. The host manages a number of properties so every time we had a question there was time spent explaining at which property we were staying which was frustrating. There was so much written communication from the host beforehand that I had to plow through emails to find the check-in process which did not make much sense. There was missing (the code to get in is through the basement door not the front door) and inaccurate……

“We had a great stay here from December 15 to January 9. The apartment was spotless and very well maintained. We received fresh linens and bedsheets every Monday, which was a really nice touch. Communication with the host was super easy and smooth throughout our stay. The location is excellent, close to everything, though if you’re walking, be prepared for a steep hill from the main road — consider it a built-in workout! Overall, a wonderful stay and we’d definitely recommend it.”

“Die Wohnung war wie beschrieben eingerichtet, Küche gut ausgestattet, Betten angenehm, Kinderbett, Hochstuhl und Waschmaschine vorhanden. Bei Kindern muss der Balkon im Auge behalten werden, da das Geländer aus Querstreben besteht, die sich prima zum Hochklettern eignen. Bäckerei, Apotheke, Obstladen etc unten in der Häuserreihe, gegenüber großer Supermarkt. Parken vor dem Haus nur für 30 Min wg der Geschäftszeile, haben aber immer in der Seitenstraße einen Parkplatz bekommen. Ein paar deutsche……
