“A great apartment on the edge of the old town. Fab views of the sea and of the local area - great for people watching. Good size living / kitchen area with well appointed cooking area. Full sized fridge freezer which is always a bonus. Bedroom at the back with a small rooflight window - no aircon - but a decent fan in both areas. Walk in bathroom/ shower was without a window and limited mechanical extraction - so had a v damp smell - a design fault - but had to keep that door closed. But the……

L'étage détente a été particulièrement apprécié pour nos moments de jeux et de convivialité en famille. La vue sur la marina est agréable. Very relaxing to sit on the terrace in the mornings with a coffee or after we came back from a hike. When we needed something there was a quick reaction. It was nice to have the parking lot with the gate, it gave us perfect privacy. To get to the centre of Funchal we walked approx. 20 minutes, but there also is a bus that can be used. “Great place to stay close to everything and amazing view. The house was in like new condition and well stocked. We would recommend this place to our friends. And we had a reserved parking spot on the street in front of the garage which was really convenient. Old town was a simple 5 min drive and great places to eat were a 5-10 minute walk (up/down hill) or quick drive.”
