“Logement trés bien placé pour visiter Funchal! Propre, spacieux, bien équipé.”

“The hotel was truly amazing. The location was perfect right in the middle of old town next to restaurants and a 5 min walk from the river front. The patio area was nestled in the middle of the hotel and felt like a breath of fresh air. The service was great they were extremely attentive. I also sprained my ankle and asked for some ice they had someone bring it in mins in a sealed bag so I can ice my ankle truly great hotel”

We loved our turn down service with the little surprises- really was a nice touch! Staff at Briso do Mar and Villia Cipriani were both great and gave us good suggestions. “Sehr schönes, vermutlich neues Hotel, etwas außerhalb von Funchal, in einer Seitenstraße gelegen. Ich hatte ein Zimmer in der 5. Etage mit Blick auf den Ozean. Fantastisch! Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber. Das Personal war sehr nett und aufmerksam. Abends wurde vom Servicepersonal nochmal in jedem Zimmer nachgefragt, ob man etwas benötige, sogar ein „Betthupferl“ wurde verteilt. Jeden Tag eine Flasche Wasser auf dem Zimmer gehört hier dazu. Aufgrund einer „Havarie“ in meinem zuerst bezogenen Zimmer……

“Hotel ist sehr guter Lage mit tollem Frühstück im Schwesterhotel (5Sterne) schöne Poollandschaft mit Gym, Whirlpool und Indoor-Pool tolle Aussicht, alles sehr hochwertig sehr nettes Personal: wir mussten unseren Aufenthalt verlängern wg Generalstreik (u.a. TAP), bekamen für die 2Tage ein Zimmerupgrade”

“Great rooms and service. Guests skew quite old which was a bit comical as two younger travelers in our mid-20s surrounded by a sun toasted retirement community”

“Alles hat mit Eingangscodes funktioniert, sodass man keinen Schlüssel bei sich tragen musste. Die Kommunikation und der Service war gut. Hatten einen kleinen Defekt, welcher innerhalb weniger Stunden repariert wurde. Die Ausstattung des Appartements reicht vollkommen aus. Die Messer könnten erneuert werden”

“This was our first trip to Madeira and staying at a Porto Bay Hotel but it will certainly not be our last. The Island is wonderful, the people charming and so friendly. Whilst you expect tourist based organisations to care about providing guests with a good experience, the staff at Suite Eden Mar do this effortlessly and I understand why they have such a high reputation and re-visitor rate. Was it the most upmarket hotel I have ever stayed in, no! However it was certainly the most friendliest I……
