“The Hotel and staff were really charming. Location excellent and enjoyed sitting outside with a drink watching the tourists having their picture taken with ‘Winston’ buzzy little town with good connections to Funchal. Will happily come back. Food was also very good ”

“We have stayed here many times. The front desk staff always remember us. They are very friendly and helpful. The garden view room we stayed in this time was very spacious and quiet. The hotel is in an excellent location with lots of restaurant choices nearby and now the Madeira Museum of Modern Art just around the corner with many musical performances.”

“It was the perfect room over looking the ocean. It was a great way to start my birthday weekend. The staff was exceptional. I really appreciated the little extra touches, like having a birthday cake made out of towels and flowers and an actual birthday cake in my room. It's convenient to a lot of things. Everyone in my party would definitely stay here again.”

“though I was only there for a night, Pedro was an absolute doll, was very attentive when I had arrived past the check-in time and super helpful and recommending a restaurant that was more local and extremely friendly. The location is perfect for the area where restaurants are right down the road and you are walkable to the promenade. Thank you for such a wonderful stay! ”

“Very unhelpful and unpleasant front desk staff throughout our stay. Room was poorly equipped, safe was broken, sliding balcony doors did not close properly, no fridge or basic room amenities. Overall very disappointing stay. Only positives were the cleaning staff and the breakfast buffet staff (both of which could provide some training to the front desk and evening restaurant staff on customer service).”
