Our stay was wonderful in every aspect. One thing to note is that Calçada do Pico is very steep, which is problematic for elderly people, but still manageable.

Obsługa niekompetentna i niesłowna. W momencie rezerwacji, w korespondencji sygnalizowałem konieczność pozostawienia bagażu, od czego uzależniłem pobyt. Odpowiedź brzmiała: "About the luggage, we will try our best to help you. No worries :)" Jednak przed zakończeniem pobytu pobytu nie było już tak różowo: "our partner (where the guests can store their bags) is closed tomorrow so unfortunately there is nothing we can do to help you :( " Stąd konieczność poniesienia dodatkowych, nieoczekiwanych kosztów (przedłużenie rezderwacji samochodu i opłaty z tym związane). Dodatkowo brak ręczników dla dwóch z czterech osób - miała zostać uzupełniony nazajutrz rano po zameldowaniu, a został uzupełniony dopiero wieczorem.

Apartamento bem localizado, limpo e ordenado. Excelente vista para a cidade do Funchal quer de um lado do apartamento como do outro. Completo ao nível de utensílios de cozinha e eletrodomésticos. Terraço espaçoso e agradável. Internet e tv top. Nada a dizer sem duvida que voltava a alugar o mesmo apartamento se um dia voltar ao Funchal.

Smart and clean apartment in Funchal town

I took a winter let of about 6 weeks, and as a returning customer was given a competitive rental rate which was great value. The apartment is spacious with excellent facilities: good kitchen hob, oven etc. For a long stay, often cooking in, this was essential. The bathroom is good with an effective shower. Large screen TV, lots of channels, and good WiFi. There's a balcony that's ideal for when catching afternoon sunshine. There is some building work opposite, but it's sporadic and they never started before 0900. The apartment is a few minutes from a corner shop and a few cafes. It's about 10 minutes walk to centre of town. The compromise here is that it sits on a very steep hill. And then there's 2 flights of stairs. For me, it improved my fitness. I only had a couple of minor issues during my stay. They were dealt with quickly and effectively. The cleaners were excellent, and the flat was very clean. The letting company (AIA) were very obliging in providing baby equipment and allowing us more guests when my family had their departure flights cancelled. All in all, we had a great time here, and would recommend

Das Apartment befindet sich in der Altstadt von Funchel und die Innenstadt ist zu Fuss in etwa 5 Minuten erreichbar. Zurück geht man je nach körperlicher Fitness mindestens doppelt solange. Das Apartment macht einen guten Gesamteindruck, jedoch ist die unmittelbare Umgebung etwas heruntergekommen. Wie andere Besucher fanden wir das Hundegebell in der Nachbarschaft nervig. Das Einchecken erfolgte kontaktlos und war unproblematisch. Island Apartart als Vermieter hat auf Anfragen schnell reagiert und war bei Mängeln bemüht, diese zu beseitigen. Unsere Kritik am Zustand der völlig verschlissenen Balkonmöbel wurde zwar entgegen genommen, aber die Sitzmöbel nicht ausgetauscht. Die Loungsessel waren mittig durchgesessen und zum Sitzen unbrauchbar. Insgesamt haben wir uns jedoch wohlgefühlt und können das Apartment mit den genannten Abstrichen empfehlen.
