"Great location for access to Saint Mathieu and the lake. Good sized bedrooms, plenty of decent crockery, etc. No frills but adequately met our needs. As we were only a couple we were paying a premium, better value for a family. Gardens surrounded the property with plenty of choice of seating, weather permitting."

"Fantastic time to be had by all in this lovely setting. More than enough room for everyone and the facilities were spot on. Location was wonderful, just near enough to a local bar for a quick sundowner before heading back for a pool side evening. The owners were more than helpful and very good at recommending local eateries. I would highly recommend for those looking to relax. Thank you to you both for a wonderful stay. "

"The property is excellent throughout: comfortable, spacious and well-equipped. The garden, with different seating spots depending on the sun's position and strength, is also extensive. I loved the area too, local towns Brantome & Nontron, the Perigord- Limousin Regional Park and the plus beau village of St Jean de Cole. I should hope to return!"

"L'accueil des propriétaires est excellent. le gîte est au calme, dans la nature. Tout est propre. Je suis donc vraiment contente de mon séjour et je recommande et le gîte et les propriétaires qui sont sympathiques. J'en dirais moins du site Abritel qui est une horreur. Pour communiquer avec les propriétaires il faut obligatoirement passer par eux, avec des envois de code. "The Green Cabin on the lake did not disappoint. A beautiful peaceful place where all you can hear is the bird song and the fish jumping. The cabin itself was beautifully clean and tastefully decorated. It provide all the comforts of home. A great place to escape the rat race and relax. Supermarket a few minutes drive away and some beautiful towns and villages to explore within a 50 min drive. Would highly recommend."
