"I really enjoyed the stay, all was brand new, clean and fully equipped. It‘s located in the very citycenter but still quiet, there is a Supermarket with a bakery right around the corner and quite a lot of Restaurants. I would have rated 5 Stars, but when we arrived ( 2 adults, one child of 3 years) the sofabed wasn‘t prepared. After inquirey I was told they never do for children under 5. I should have asked for it, as this is their policy. I found that very strange, I couldn‘t find a Word about...

"Vielen Dank für die schnelle Rückmeldung, wir haben jetzt eingecheckt. Zimmer sind ok aber abgewohnt und billig eingerichtet. Silberfische auf dem Boden , alle Fenster auf bzw. abgekippt, was halt bei 2,5 grad C Außentemperatur total sinnfrei ist. Der Grund dafür ist dass verrauchte Zimmer. Was selbst als Raucher unangenehm riecht. Sorry aber dann bitte nicht für eine Suite verkaufen und Bilder nutzen, die mit der Realität nichts zu tun haben um einen höheren Verkaufspreis zu erzielen. ."

"The owners were suuuppppper nice, had tips for us, always responding and helpful. The place is in gorgeous quiet area. You cannot walk from there anywhere, you need your transportation. We were on motorcycles - gas station was 3 min away, right next to it was a beautiful grocery store, that can get you started. Then you just have to know the area and what you want to visit. Town is very close as well, I think like 10 min, with some cafes and restaurants but we weren't there for that, just aware...

"Loved everything -- EXCEPT the muted lighting in the room. It looks very nice, but I needed good, strong light during my stay and there was no way to get it in the room."

"We really enjoyed our stay on the castle property! The rooms were very clean, service was attentive and prompt, and access was easy. The castle exterior is impressive and has been well-kept. The castle interior is now more of an exhibition space than anything resembling castle quarters or museum. But again, that is the castle. The hotel rooms themselves were ornate, clean, and beds were comfortable. We reserved one of the bridal suites, so we had an abundance of space. Overall, it was an excellent value for money spent. Oh - and the breakfast was impressive! Eggs, bacon, breads, lots of fruit, and excellent coffee/cappuccino (of course!). Delicious! And the dining hall felt very much like it was part of a castle... a fun experience. Thank you!!! If we are ever in the region again I would not hesitate to stay at Wasserschloss Klaffenbach hotel. :-) -Andrew Braun"
