Great week with family - this house had plenty to do and plenty of room for indoor and outdoor activities! We came for spring break and lots of rain but never a dull moment. Great set up for a larger group.

Beautiful home on the river

We very much enjoyed our stay. It was a great base of operations to see many redwood and coastal sites nearby. Enjoyed kyaking on the river. Highly recommend staying here.

A wonderful time at a wonderful property.

Perfect!

The house was the perfect size for our family of 6 and could have easily accommodated more people. The room upstairs was great for the kids. The river and the view was gorgeous. Unfortunately the hot tub was not working during our stay.The location was great, we easily made the drive to Crescent City daily and also to many hikes in the Redwoods.

Fantastic getaway in Redwoods

Loved the remote yet convenient property. Great place to come back and peacefully relax after a day of hiking. Would love to rent again from both owners and the house itself in the future.

River House Birthday Weekend

Even in the winter, it was a magical stay to watch the water in the river rage, over coffee or from the hot tub. This is also, by far, the best well stocked vacation house we have ever visited. Wonderful stay!!!

This property was in an excellent location for our family to explore the redwoods and the near by ocean towns. The setting on the river was beautiful and we enjoyed all the amenities, such as kayaking and games. The house could use a little updating, but still a great place to stay!

HANDS DOWN the best Air B&B we've stayed in!!!! The home is older and has a quirky layout, which worked well for our family. We used the kayaks and paddle boards and we're in the river until the sun went down, then we hit the hot tub. If you're a water family you'll love it there!!! Pricey but worth it.

Beautiful setting on Smith River

Love the river view!

Cold and rainy on this trip, could not ask for a better spot on the river. Only complaint we had was the hot tub was dirty. We were really looking forward to spending our time in the tub, but not this trip.

Wonderful property and stay. The home is right on river and has everything u can need for a comfortable stay including a jacuzzi overlooking the river. Property was near redwoods and wonderful trails. When not on river, we were hiking with redwoods and vice versa. It was 2 of us and a little parrot. Lovely time had by all. Thank u

Fantastic views of the Smith River from the hot tub and dining room and which was just a staircase away! Liked having an EV charger and a clean house with a kitchen that had plenty of utensils, plates and cookware (we would have loved a kettle!). Please fix the fishing rod situation as only 1 was in working order out of the 6. It was also extremely cold in the house when we arrived and the water had not been turned on.
