Farmhouse living.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay in the Garden Suite. She brought her little dog along and they enjoyed walking the trails.Highly recommended.

Idyllic retreat

We were looking for a quiet, restful place for a few days, and this was perfect! Beautiful view of the land, well-appointed home with super comfortable bed, very clean. Owner made check-in easy. And we were so excited to find my mother-in-law’s note in the guest book from 5 years ago! Highly recommend.

Great dog-friendly getaway!

Perfect stay in Ferndale

This was a perfect-sized place for my family of 3 for 3 nights. We enjoyed the quiet and peaceful setting and location but close enough to walk to Main Street. Easy and quick communication with the host. We will definitely stay here again!

Great location, beautiful views!

We enjoyed our 2-night stay in the Garden Suite. Very spacious, well stocked with everything we needed, comfortable bed (futon mattress as well), beautiful grounds with fenced in large back yard, which was nice for our dogs. I loved the close proximity to town (walkable), and the beautiful Russ Park right across the street, which has great hiking/running trails (steep), and expansive views. Would love to come back and stay longer next time!

Well earned rest

My wife and I have enjoyed our prior stays here. We are now home from our last visit throughly refreshed and energized. We haven't been this relaxed in several years. Great stay. Looking forward to our next visit.

Dog friendly

We stayed with our two dogs and enjoyed the scenery and small town of Ferndale, with the awesome Victorian houses and pastoral views. Well kept property and nice owners. Great yard for the dogs and a very short walk to town. Nice shops, limited choice of restaurants but a short drive to Eureka or Fortuna if you want more seafood, etc. Jack's Seafood in Eureka was nice, with waterfront seating on the bay.

Comfortable Retreat

We enjoy our stay each time we come to the Garden Suite. Perfect for someone with a pet. Ferndale is a great little get away with good food and fun shops. We enjoyed checking out the Ferndale Museum and the little Carnegie Library on Main St.

Thanksgiving Reunion

Our Thanksgiving stay at the Bluff house properties was fantastic! It worked out perfectly for everyone to do their holiday cooking and then share the holiday meal in the Farmhouse. There is such an attention to detail in each of the rentals. Friday we walked to town and had a great time doing some shopping in the wonderful shops on Main St. Ferndale. Thank you for helping to make our family holiday stay so memorable. making it a memorable holiday.

Lovely Place

We stayed four nights with our dog, Bosco, who loved the space to run around and check out the cows and the deer. It is very peaceful and quiet with a large bedroom and bath. You are within walking distance to Main Street but feel like you are all alone in the countryside. Hosts are extremely responsive.

Beautiful location in Ferndale

Garden suite was perfect for out family of 3 plus dog. Grounds were lovely and hosts accomodating. The access to the Rec room was a big bonus for our son. Short walk to town through the field and on sidewalks was very enjoyable. Close to the historic cemetery.

Quiet, Relaxing and Spacious

Really nice quiet farmland property with nice sized great room, bedroom and bath. Saw plenty of deer and wild turkey in the yard. Secure yard for our Frenchie to run around in. Close to town and 10 minutes to the beach! We really enjoyed our stay!

Lovely, relaxing location

This apartment felt welcoming from the moment we arrived. The space is bright, comfortable and the location is quiet and peaceful. The yard is large and dog-friendly. The host was very responsive, even bringing over a corkscrew when I couldn't find one. Overall this property is exactly as advertised and we really enjoyed our visit.

We had such a wonderful and peaceful stay at the garden suite. It’s exactly what we needed. It’s a lovely country property within a very short walk to town. Ferndale is a true gem of a place with lovely shops and good dining options. Sylvia was an amazing host, providing us with information regarding sight seeing options in the area. We will definately stay at the garden suite again.

Wonderful Dog Friendly Garden Apartment with Views!

Sharon pro-actively reached out to us a few days before our arrival with access information. The apartment was clean, spacious and very comfortable. We travel with our Golden Retriever who appreciate the fenced in area outside the back door. The bathroom was exceptionally spacious, with lots of counter top & towels. Hope we can stay here again when next in the lovely village of Ferndale.

Everything we needed

OPen the back door......fenced in yard for our dog👍🏼 Yummy cookies on the table👍🏼......spacious!! Giant windows overlooking pasture. I forgot to bring my magnifying mirror (can’t put make up on without it!)....there was one in the bathroom👍🏼. We were very comfortable and look forward to returning.

Fabulous Weekend!

The Garden Suite at the Ferndale BluffHouse was great! It has a large fenced yard where the dogs could play and chase each other. I was most impressed by how clean it was and how uncluttered. It was stocked with just enough things to be able to make breakfast, etc., but no extra spices, plastic bags, or dozens of useless knives like I have experienced in other places. We had a very peaceful, delightful weekend, which is what we wanted. Thank you VERY much! We shall be back!
