Marigold Mountain House is a charming, bright and cozy getaway with unsurpassed mountain views set among flowering gardens with Skykomish River access nearby. Kick back in the covered outdoor living space and bask in the tranquility of the Cascades. Sooth your muscles after a day of adventure in the sparkling spa. Cozy up to the wood burning stove and watch the snow fall. Marigold is the perfect retreat for honeymooning couples, and for small families or a few friends to reunite and reconnect. This property is newly renovated, upgraded with our guest's best interests in mind!

Quiet cabin in the woods
This is a great place to stay for peace and quiet. It is located conveniently for hiking excursions. A nice hot tub to relax in, and well off the beaten path. But if you are looking to be close to Leavenworth or other populated areas, this is doable, but about an hour + away. The only downside is the common area for sitting together as a family to watch a movie is upstairs and doubles as the second sleeping area. There’s plenty of outdoor covered seating options to make up for it though. And unplugging for the weekend is not necessarily a downside for us. We all enjoyed the covered porch hot tub, and fire table. Thanks for a great pre-back to school weekend.

I am sorry. I have to give this property a one star review because we just could NOT get warm. The lighter by the fireplace had no fluid in it so we had to light the BBQ to get some flame. Also... the hot tub temp would not adjust any higher than 99° no matter how many times I messed with the settings. The power went out!! It was single digit temp and the power went out, NO EXTRA BLANKETS, just a million pillows. We were absolutely miserable. Also... the water was shut off too. I wouldnt recommend this property to anyone during the cold season.

Favorite Index getaway
My husband and I spent the Christmas holiday (five days) here. It was our second stay at the cabin, and we are already looking forward to returning. The cabin is very clean, pretty, and well-equipped. The kitchen (including huge outdoor grill) is great; the bed is very comfortable; the covered deck and hot tub have gorgeous mountain views and are beautifully lit at night. We enjoyed fires both indoors and outdoors. The adjacent property is home to a menagerie of chickens, ducks, sheep and an alpaca (!) and we were welcomed to visit at will (one of the highlights of the trip!). The breathtaking Canyon Falls and Sunset Falls on the Skykomish River are within easy walking distance. The neighborhood is quiet and private. Just can't say enough good things. We stayed here during Thanksgiving 2021 and really enjoyed it. During the intervening two years, quite a few improvements were made to the property, showing that the owners really want their guests to have a first-class experience. What a great couple's getaway!

The location is very relaxing. The jacuzzi was heaven. The bathroom was super small and tight to maneuver. The shower floor is way too slippery. Please upgrade. Seriously. Overall. Great place.

Cozy Mountain Getaway
This place is PERFECT for a cozy mountain getaway! It's very quiet and secluded. It was just what we needed to relax and recharge after a very hectic and stressful couple of months. The only thing I would change is to warn people that the water tastes/smells metallic due to it being well water. It's completely safe to drink and shower in, but I was caught a little off guard. Otherwise, the place was amazing!

We needed a place to stay for a wedding nearby. Well appointed little cabin in the woods with a bonus hot tub. Beautiful drive to the property from the highway. Loved our neighbors too -- a llama and a few sheep!

Best Exotic Marigold
Nice get away from it all cozy charming cabin/loft. Enjoyed our 5 night stay. Look forward to booking it again. Great views of the mountains quiet relaxing and especially enjoyed the hot tub even though the weather was only nice one day. Best Exotic Marigold cabin in the mountains.

We loved our stay at the Marigold House. It was a record-breaking heatwave during our visit, so we didn't get to spend as much time in the beautiful hot tub as we would have liked, but the house was clean and comfortable. We can't wait to come back!

Lovely weekend getaway
My family (myself, my wife, and our 8-year old daughter) was very happy with our experience. The cabin was clean. We had some minor issues with the hot tub, but a quick call to the number provided and we were able to get everything sorted out quickly. The directions to the cabin were easy to follow and very accurate. Overall it was a wonderful stay.

Lovely Little Cottage
We enjoyed our stay in this lovely little home. There was plenty space for our family of four + 2 dogs. Great outdoor patio and hot tub. My husband and kids were several times a day everyday during our stay. Short walk to the river and very peaceful.

It was okay, but small and dirty
The location is fantastic, and beautiful. We loved the large outdoor deck, and wood burning fireplace. The place is much smaller than the photos suggest, and the kitchen is a bit limited (which the listing stated). The neighbors are much closer than revealed or suggested in the listing. Our biggest disappointment was the cleanliness of the cabin, especially during COVID. This cabin is managed by a property management company, so I would expect much higher standards of cleanliness. The floors were barely clean, and under the couch/corners were very dirty. The bathroom was atrocious, with spider webs, bugs, and stains in the bathtub. Just gross. I expect some standard of cleaning which is paid for by the guests regardless of the pandemic. WITH the pandemic I would expect much more from a professional property management company to provide even a basic standard of cleanliness. It’s a cute place, in a beautiful setting, but would not recommend until cleanliness standards are improved.

Bring everything you need!
Queen bed was great! I was surprised at the sparseness of the kitchen supplies! No foil, plastic wrap, etc. No spices at all, just salt and pepper. And only 2 rolls of toilet paper! Come prepared with everything you could possibly need! But pleasant stay!

Great stay near trails and the river
Myself and a few friends stayed for the weekend, and it was the right size for 4 of us. The place is small but has everything you need, and we had a great time. Wifi is great, we had access to Netflix etc. And the cabin is very close to mountain trails, and the river. It was so relaxing and lovely. I don't know if the listing has been updated, but there is a grill on the property. We initially didn't think there was, so that was a nice bonus. Thank you again Beth!
