“At the end of a 2km dirt road you’ll find this expansive property with modest (extremely comfortable) properties (miners cabins.) Our property had 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, very compact, comfortable and had everything we needed. The beds were super comfy, the bathroom was quite small, but our hosts had provided all the special touches. The highlight was what the sanctuary was all about…. they are an active rescue sanctuary for a wide range of animals.……

Close to Moyhu hotel and Ineeta Cafe where we enjoyed meals at both places. Big 80th Birthday family weekend with lovely afternoon celebrating at Chrismont Cellar door restaurant and winery. Travel to and from Moyhu by King Valley tours. Making lots of memories.”

“Huon Creek Retreat exceeded expectations. Quiet and private with magical views. It was the perfect country getaway, with cows and sheep all around. Loved everything about our stay, the highlights were the heated spa and firepit, both offered stunning panoramic views especially sunset. Overall, the property is well kept with a lot of personal touches, thoughtfully catering for families, comfy King beds, clean and equipped with everything you need.
