We had a lovely stay -- quite a cozy and well-appointed cabin, in an out-of-the-way spot that let us explore the area and just hunker down and enjoy the solitude, as the mood took us. Our host was very welcoming and considerate. A wonderful spot!
We loved our walks looking at wildlife footprints in the snow. The cabin was cozy and the drive to the coast one day made a perfect day trip. Loved everything about it: host, property, and location.

Host was very nice and made us feel welcome. Cabin was well stocked with anything a person might forget to bring! Place was clean and surrounded by beautiful lush lawn and hiking trails. Very private as well.
This is a great place to stay if you're looking to enjoy peace and quiet in a true countryside environment. Debbie is super friendly and accommodating; she already had a lot of the things we were worried about needing to bring. You'll have the opportunity to enjoy wildlife, stargazing, and nature in an area with rich history.
Although we were spending most of our time at Acadia NP, peace and tranquillity of the Chalet Cabin was enjoyable. Enjoyed a cozy fire to ward off the fall evening chill and gazing at the stars and the Milky Way is hard to beat.
We were very comfortable here and enjoyed the quiet country setting. Our dog absolutely loved it here. Its a great place to bring your dog. Cant say enough about the owner, Debbie. Shes just the sweetest! We enjoyed our talks and getting to know her.
The stay at the cabin was fantastic! It was great getting out of the city and into nature. Debbie was great! She was kind enough to call multiple stables trying to book horse riding for us. It was unfortunately too muddy when we went but we still had a great time. The trails are also clearly marked and make for great hiking.

This was everything we wanted and more! The host Debbie is fantastic and responsive to any questions we had. She even let us stay late on our check out date ! An endless supply of firewood for the pit and the nature trails are a must see and excellently marked. The small cabin is very well kept and comfortable.
The little cabin was very cute and cozy. It had everything we needed and a beautiful view of the surrounding forest. I had so much fun! Lots of wildlife to be seen and heard.
Debbie was very friendly and chekced in with us often, she is a great host.
We moved to Maine and needed a place to use as a base while we found housing. The chalet (smaller of the two cabins) was perfect for our needs. Quiet, with a huge yard and woods for our two dogs to run in and explore. The host is wonderful and lives on the property so was there for any issues we had (ex. needed a new extension cord for the appliances). Country living at its best!
The host was very friendly and helpful. They came over and set mouse traps when we contacted them even though it was very late at night. They also fixed a couple very minor issues immediately when we contacted them (example: a nail sticking out of the wall). She was very knowledgable about what could be done in the region (lakes, local birds/animals to see, where to eat, etc.).
It was an absolutely beautiful cabin hard to get to so the directions should be changed because it takes through the back side in order to get into the location and then you end up having to turn around because you end up in a corn field in the middle of the night and that's a little rugged no TVs in any of the rooms. Other than that our stay was amazing. Very clean everything equipped inside. You just had to get your own food and stuff. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and hope to be back
Let me first say, I’m going to be completely honest with you on this review. If you are looking for luxe like the Taj Mahal or the Ritz, keep looking. If you’re looking for a super cute, super quiet, quaint little cabin to stay at the end of a day exploring Maine, this is your stay. The cabin is bigger than we expected. You walk into a cute little kitchen/living room combo that leads into 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. Being from rural Central VA, we were used to having wildlife around and we are used to well water and septic tanks. We both agree we would stay here again, given the opportunity to come back. Such a cute cabin that will always have a piece of our hearts.
Was a very peaceful cabin tucked away in the Maine woods. A place where you can hear the birds sing, watch the squirrels play, and enjoy the night sky. It is in central Maine so you are about two hours from many attractions. Over all a great stay for us. Now I will tell you if you cannot be away from all the modern convenances of home then you may not enjoy your stay here. One thing the girls did not like was walking through the wet grass in the morning getting to your vehicle. The lawn is beautiful but they wanted a dry walkway such as stepping stones to keep their open toes dry. But over all this place is relaxing, quiet, and so calming. Do not hesitate to book a stay here. Debbie your host will take great care of you.
Cozy Cabin - great place to unplug, enjoy nature & each other!
There are two cabins on the property. We stayed in the Chalet, which is the smallest of the two cabins. The cabin is rustic and cozy with a wood stove and games in the living space. The kitchen is small, but has full-size appliances and is well stocked with dishes, cookware and some basic spices, pan, etc. There is a front porch or fire pit to enjoy. The property is 500 acres and there are some trails to explore. We saw multiple deer and wild turkey without having to venture into the woods over the 3 days we stayed here. You would need access to the Main cabin to use a washer on the property, but there is a laundry mat located a short distance away if needed. I was not personally able to see the Wi-Fi, but that may have had to do with my phone. The host Debbie was extremely helpful. She was quick to respond to my texts and sent me multiple links to restaurants, points of interest, etc. Her home is located nearby. We were a little over an hour from Greenville where we did a Moose Safari. We visited Portland from there, but we could have chosen Bar Harbor. It depends on your interests. This is a great place to unplug, but if you are addicted to TV you will have withdrawals.
