“Its an old thatched pub and the room shape and conditions reflect that - sloping floors and wonky walls but the bedding , towels etc were clean and fresh. Rooms are above the bar so not quiet until the pub closes. Pub downstairs is friendly and has a good atmosphere with plenty of choice behind the bar. They serve food but I didn't try any so can't comment on that. Reasonably large attached car park although theres no covered area or anything to chain a motorcycle to.”

“An interesting place and not necessarily in a positive way. The, very few, staff working were lovely and very accommodating, and the food decent but goodness me does the place need an overhaul. Dated, scruffy and not on my list to return to. Sad really as it could be a very beautiful desirable place to stay if time and money were spent on it.”
