"We had a mixed experience during our stay. Check-in was quick and friendly, which we appreciated, and overall the staff was welcoming. Unfortunately, noise was an issue. The guest above us walked back and forth for hours late into the night and again early in the morning, which made it difficult to get solid sleep before an important day. If you stay here, I would strongly recommend requesting a top-floor room. The shower also needs maintenance. The tub spout released more water than the showerhead while in use, and the drain was slow, causing the tub to partially fill during a shower. We were also given incorrect information about the nearest EV supercharger. There are two chargers in the parking lot, but they are very slow, so if they’re occupied in the evening, cars tend to stay plugged in overnight. On the positive side, the Tesla destination chargers are free, which is a nice perk if available. Breakfast was a highlight. Standard options like eggs and sausage were available, along with a pancake maker, warm cinnamon rolls, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal packets, Chobani yogurt, and hard-boiled eggs—good choices for both sit-down and grab-and-go. The fitness room was well equipped with treadmills, an elliptical, rowing machine, weight benches, dumbbells, and a convenient water refill station. Overall, this is a decent place to stay with friendly staff and solid amenities, but noise and maintenance issues impacted our experience."

"Super 8 is super-convenient--located right along the highway in Lindsay. I stayed there during a road trip to see Yosemite and Sequoia National Parks. Lindsay is about 3 hrs from Yosemite Valley, and 1-1/2 hrs to the west entrance to Kings Canyon/Sequoia. I found the staff at Super 8 to be very friendly and helpful, making check-in and check-out hassle-free. Parking is close to the building and plentiful. The rooms are dated, but clean and comfortable. 'Breakfast included' was a bit disappointing--muffins and toast with orange juice or coffee. If you are looking for an inexpensive place to lay your head for a day or two, this might be the ticket."

"Nothing but great things to say about our stay at the JD Hyde Inn. The house is gorgeous and lovingly restored. The hot tub was so relaxing, and the pool and landscaping were lovely. Enjoying the complimentary cocktail hour in the beautiful library and drawing rooms was seriously a treat. The bed was comfortable and the old fashioned bathroom furnishings were fun. Last but certainly not least, our host Julieth was so lovely, friendly and attentive. We’ll definitely be back!"
