It was a great old feel hotel,did not get up for breakfast so I can't speak on that but everything else was great.one thing they could improve on is the space in the showers.

The stay at Waynesbrook was a wonderful trip. Originally my reservation was to stay in King Suite, however, I received a phone call before check in, informing me the jacuzzi tub was out of service, and offered my reservation to change over to the Queen Suite, this was fine. I appreciated the communication. During the stay the elevator was out of service, causing any time leaving room had to use the stairs. Queen suite is on 4th floor, needless to say I got my exercise in. New Years Eve upon arrival a young gentleman who also was working at the dining area helped get me checked in. Super helpful, and informative with all my questions. In the am, we woke up to have the continental breakfast, a young lady tended this breakfast. This young lady kept tye garden room, tidy, and very well stocked with coffee, assorted begals, and muffins. Sweet and yummy danish, oatmeal, cereal. The attendant asked me if I needed anything when she seen me run out of cream cheese immediately offering me the new container as she even opened it for me. The only small complaint I had was about parking. Sure it was due to we stayed on New Years Eve. There was zero parking anywhere close to the building so another form of causing my exercise to increase. Just wish there was a loading area designated for the guests from the dinner customers. But overall great place to stay, wish I could've stayed more days than the one day I actually stayed. Maybe next time. Thank you for the wonderful stay, and service.

The room was very nice..floor 4.. quiet and comfortable. Parking lot at dinner time was full, but was able to find 1 open spot. Very convenient for travels to Shady Maple.

The images on the website are not even close the the three rooms we booked. On arrival the elevator was broken to the second floor (all our rooms were there). The carpets were old and filthy, the refrigerator in one room was broken and the thermostat in. one room did not work. The shower was literally less than 2'x2' and a tiny sink and bathroom (nothing like the internet pictures). The furniture was so old and beat up it was not even suitable for a dorm room. It looked so nice online but a disaster on arrival. Luckily we were able to relocate to the Holiday Inn (it was less as well) and the rooms were wonderful.

Beautiful old building but the rooms were not in good shape. Because we booked on line we were delegated to the 2nd floor, the elevator doesnt stop on the second floor. Our companions booked theough the hotel and were given a much more recently updated room on the 4th floor. The carpeting in the hall was decent but the carpet in our room was dirty, and very old the mattresses were awful. The bathroome floor was missing tile and the sink had a chip in the cabinet. You had to turn sideways to get passed the incredibly short vanity to get to the toilet. I think this room was probably redone in the 70s or 80s. Would not recommend.

This quaint beautiful old hotel has several resturaunts and pubs, because we booked online, we were delegated to a room on the 2nd floor. The elevator doesnt stop on the second floor. The room was large The carpet was dirty, you had to turn sideways to get past the bathroom sink to go use the toilet. Tile was missing from the floor. The short single sink vanity had a chip on the side. The bathroom appeared to have been installed in the 1980s. The mattresses felt like they were even older. My friend booked through the hotel, she got a room on the 4th floor, with nice much newer mattress. Spacious sitting area and large bathroom with double sink.we chose this hotel because my husband had stayed here about a month ago. At that time the elevator didnt stop at the second floor. He enjoyed the restaurant and the pub.

I booked this room the day we were to arrive. We arrived around 8:30 at night. We were informed the elevator doors would not open on our floor. As my husband has a knee problem climbing stairs is painful. We requested a room on a floor where the elevator worked and were told no rooms were available. Consequently we had to manage the stairs. The room was in horrible condition. Filthy carpets, broken furniture and lights that did not work. When we checked out in the morning we spoke to a young woman who said she was a manager and told her what happened. She stated she called me on Friday to inform us of the elevator. We did not book the room until Saturday. She then informed us if we had a complaint why didn’t we say something the night before and stay somewhere else. I do not recommend this hotel. It has a rating of 8 which is why I chose it but it clearly was a 3 at best.
