"We had booked this apartment for 5 nights, but we left after one night. Mold in the shower, nasty beds, Dirty carpets etc. No working smoke detector, We complained to the host about this immediately, but no answer. Faint smell of urine, that was tried hidden with very heavy perfume. Only positive we can say is that it has a good location. We will NOT be back."

"The overall impression was positive. We did not have any concerns about the apartment or amenities, or service. Especially the location was perfect! If I ever go to Riga again, I would love to stay in the same area. The only problem was the absence of the elevator, while trying to climb up (with or without a luggage) on the 6th floor. For older people it would have been simply impossible."

"Tolle Lage, aber leider hat das Gebäude großen Renovierungsstau. Das Appartement liegt im Hochparterre (nicht bequem) und hat das kleine Bad auf gleicher Ebene. Küche und Schlafzimmer sind nur durch eine 8 Stufige Innentreppe erreichbar. Fenster sind klein zur Strasse bzw Innenhof, sodass wenig Tageslicht und Ventilation erfolgt. "We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment has everything you need, very thoughtfully and tastefully furnushed. Location is amazing, we loved the outhentic experience of staying on Old Town Riga. Guntis is a great host, communication was top notch, very responsive and prompt. If we are back, we would definitely stay there again."

Wonderful hotel

"A wonderful hotel full of character. You would stay here for the breakfast alone!! A fabulous selection of healthy, fresh food served in the hotel’s wonderful cellar. Also, the room was clean, the bed was super comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is also good with lots of restaurants and bars close by. Also an easy walk to the old city. I’ll definitely stay here again next time I visit wonderful Riga. 😀"

Spa is over the top good

"Rooms were large, well appointed, and with great black-out curtains. But the best part was the spa - I've never been to a nicer hotel spa. Two dry saunas, one steam room, cold plunge, pool, hot tub...All first class. Really a great place."
