"We had to make a last minute change to this property from one we had in San Gimignano, and we are delighted that it worked out that way. The property is super relaxing and the staff made our stay memorable. The owner/on-site chef made a fabulous 3 course meal for dinner, plus dessert, and breakfast was simply perfect If you do not have a car and anticipate hiring a taxi, I advise that you set up the taxi in advance and the owners will be happy to provide a number for you. "Great staff, restaurant was excellent and well priced. Peaceful setting, nice pool, not inexpensive but a super nice experience. Wines were really good too. The manager and the team were top notch. About 10 mins to Montepulciano, andplenty of places to explore nearby. recommend!"

"This is one of the most beautiful properties in one of the most beautiful little towns off the beaten path we have come across in our extensive travels around Italy. The property is brand new and beautifully designed and decorated with distinctive finishes and furnishings throughout the location is incredible right at the base of the town of Monteleone. The town of Pieve is only a 10 minute drive away both are incredible and worth visiting as is Orvieto. We were most impressed by Front Desk Staff, Member, Anna, who level of professionalism and service was beyond that we’ve encountered in many five star Plus properties. Highly recommend this property as a base to explore the beautiful region of Umbria."

"Our train was late and the front desk staff, Alessia stayed late just to let us check in. It was very kind and went above and beyond! She also arranged transport from train to hotel which was super helpful due to the train’s late arrival. The breakfast was also very good with some hot selections and cold and fresh fruit. The room was very clean and well maintained with good air conditioning during the hot weather. Overall, I would strongly recommend this hotel which had great walking access to the major attractions. Orvieto is a lovely town!"

"The hotel was beautiful maintained and a very convenient location. We stayed in a newly renovated room which was quite modern and clean with excellent spaces for clothes and toiletries which I appreciated! Our room didn’t have a view, it looked onto another building which I was a bit disappointed about. The breakfast was average, too many sweet dessert choices for my taste, but there were eggs and and a nice yogurt bar. The pool area looks nicer in the pictures than it does in person but the pool itself was nice and refreshing. They could have furnished the pool area nicer considering the area we were in! The staff were helpful and friendly, hotel was very convenient with lots of parking and it was very clean."
