I checked in late at night. After a 12.5 hour drive from Houston, Tx. Once I checked in I grabbed my bed clothes and went straight to bed. I woke up in the early AM. I was covered In bed bug bites. I messaged Expedia as I went to the front desk. A heavy set lady with white hair was frustrated and giving poor customer service as soon as I mentioned it. Claiming she needed proof and etc. I showed her the bite marks. She claimed I needed to find a bug. I expressed that I saw on the reviews that others have said they had bed bugs. Her claim was that’s just people who don’t get their way. I went back to my room pulls the blankets back and a nice size bed bought was crawling. I picked it up and put it in a cup and brought it to her. She then claimed I brought them there. I was offended we went back and fourth and she eventually told me to get my S*** and get out. They refused to refund me! I filed complaints with several departments!!! They’re selling liquor illegally from the front desk and food. Don’t book here !!!!

Was not Aware of a deposit. Showed up did not have enough money for the deposit. So could not stay in the room that I booked. Not only did I not have the full Deposit the online booking company booked my room in the wrong name. So clearly I did not have 2 forms of ID to check-in, and they don't give refunds, and there was nothing stating the deposit on the website when I was booking. Very unhappy and did not have a place to stay after paying for it reached out to the motel, they were not compassionate and did not care and Was not?\n Happy with the sign on the wall, saying no visitors or you would be basically put out on the streets. And if more than 2 people were in the room you were kicked out\n Last time I checked, if you run it around, you could have a person. Come over as long as they were not staying the night. Very misleading have stayed in Uber 10 places and have never not known about a deposit very unhappy with the motel and the booking company who did not care That my money was took and could not even check-in.And for not only one reason , but two

Nicely renovated old style motel. Hot shower, comfortable bed, fresh hot coffee in the morning and a room rate at the lower end of the range is exactly what I’m looking for in an overnight stop along the expressway.

There was no dresser, table or chair in the room. Just a bed with large mirrors at both ends and no secondary lock/latch on the door. Also, bed only had fitted sheet and bedspread, no top sheet. My wife was displeased and will find different lodging on her travels.

STAY AWAY FROM HERE!

We asked to check in a little bit earlier- 30 minutes. Was told no- it has to be cleaned. In fact the check in time is NOT 2pm- it is 3pm. No- I read it carefully.. sorry but they are wrong. Plus- we need a $100 deposit. Plus a $12 check in fee above and beyond whatever you paid. Then when we check in at 3pm- creating problems with our plans and get to the room. It was clean- but no dresser, nor table, nor a chair to sit our bags down on. 1 small nightstand- not 1 on each side of the bed but just 1 nightstand that had a phone on it. So our bags had to be put on the floor. I don’t know why they even accepted Hotels.com guests because they had a big note on the window in the office saying not to book a room through places like Hotel.com and others because they don’t pay the hotel enough. Book through them- I would not have found them if not for this app.. trust me we won’t even go to that town again!!
