「I have stayed at the Lucerne multiple times now and each time has been enjoyable! The rooms are clean, spacious and the hotel has great character. The food is pretty solid and the value is amazing.」

「The hotel is located inside the University of Maine campus, which is quiet, safe, and has convenient parking. The rooms seem to be converted from student dormitories, so the layout is different from typical hotels. The bathroom in my room was exceptionally large, almost at a luxury mansion level, and the bed was also big. The room was clean with high ceilings, but there was no desk available for use, which was somewhat inconvenient.」

「It was a nice place. Kinda older but kept up and right on the interstate. A bit away from grocery and other stores. But they did have soup every night in the lobby which was nice」

「The staff was friendly and efficient. The room was comfortable with good beds and blankets. The area is safe with all sorts restaurants nearby; even a cinema multiplex within 2 miles. The motel had a quality morning breakfast and good coffee. The interstate was convenient to the property.」

「Loved that the unit came with a table for 4! Did not love the dusty baseboards and loud heat/ac unit that was too loud for us to sleep comfortably. Also did not like that the sleeping area is not separate from the kitchen area. Prefer a bathroom with the sink inside so that other people in the party are not disrupted. Wonderful staff and overall good stay but could have been better.」
