Nice pool , good breakfast, quiet location. Helpful managers, excellent restaurant on site Our room #128: shower head clogged-had to use hand held. Slow drain and small shower cubicle wirh no curtain: flooding on floor everytime we showered . Dont stay in room 128. Our AC kept our room cool,however everyday we would leave and the housekeeper would open the patio doors and leave them unlocked. We reported this to management. Air conditioner from above floor dripped onto our patio right next to our clothesline. Bees were attracted to excess water: could not sit on verandah.

A “resort” in name only — a very disappointing stay Our recent stay at Dimitris “Resort” Hotel was a complete disappointment. Calling this property a resort is a stretch; it felt more like a tired, one-star motel. The advertised pool service and restaurant were nowhere to be found, and the palm trees supposedly lining the pool certainly did not match what we experienced. The hotel is run down, the grounds are unkempt, and even the walkway to the pool needs attention. There is nothing particularly pleasant or inviting about the surroundings. Our room overlooked a car park, and the old plastic drinking glasses provided were disgustingly dirty. We were given only a sheet, with no blanket. It was too hot to sleep without the air conditioning, yet too cold with it on, making a comfortable night’s sleep difficult. When we asked for an iron, the owner simply told us they did not have one and that we could use a local laundry service at our own expense. He made zero effort to assist us or offer a practical alternative. This lack of care and hospitality was particularly disappointing. The property desperately needs maintenance, attention to cleanliness, and a more honest representation of what guests can actually expect. We would never recommend staying here and certainly would not return.

Simple, safe, affordable and great location. I also found it charming. If you aren’t looking for a Ritz experience, just a nice place to stay in Matala, then I say go for it. We were pleasantly surprised and will stay here again.

Accueil téléphonique gentil pour nous expliquer où était la clef de la chambre car nous sommes arrivés après 20h . Par contre, pas de petit déjeuner disponible même payant contrairement à ce qui est noté sur leur site. Personne à l'accueil pour nous renseigner.

Har boet der 3 gange før, nu er standarden faldet til minimum, ingen bar, ingen mulighed for morgenmad, wifi virker ikke på værelset, skulle have værelset kl. 15.00 men fik det først 15.45 da de var i gang med at lægge fliser. Matala er et super sted, som vi kommer tilbage til med desværre ikke mere på dette hotel

Un petit paradis

Nous sommes arrivés dans le domaine de Dimitri et avons été accueilli avec une gentillesse extrême. Les chambres sont simples, la salle de bain date un peu mais tout est calme et très propre et la gentillesse des hôtes nous a donné l’envie d’y revenir.

Super Hotel und super Personal. Einfach toll. Wenig unnötiger Luxus. Mehr Sauberkeit, Menschlichkeit, Ruhe, Wohl fühl Gefühl und gutes Frühstück. Das Personal bemüht sich sehr um die Gäste. Sie sind sehr freundlich. Auch zu denen, denen man nie recht machen kann.
