“We had a fantastic few days at Shieldhill Farmhouse with our extended family. Everything was clean and tidy and we all felt at home the minute we walked through the door. There were lots of little extra things such as toys for the children, recommendations for restaurants and takeaways, and goodies on arrival which were lovely. It's a big open farmhouse, and Scotland isn't known for it's tropical weather so we were a little chilly (even in August!) but we just popped a jumper and slippers on……

“Great center location between two big cities plus other locations. There was plenty of room to fit very comfortably 7 people. 6adults and 1 child. House was clean, check in was a breeze, had questions and they responded very quickly.”

“Nice apartment in a lovely village. The guest book was a nice touch and we gleaned a good tip from previous guests' comments: free parking at Rosyth train station for an easy day-out in Edinburgh.”

It is well appointed, the attention to detail is strong, the beds are comfy, and a bathroom for every bedroom allows for space, and privacy for anyone staying. Having said all that, we met three of the owners and……

It is in an ideal setting - a quiet peaceful village, close to quaint villages and larger centres for sight-seeing and amenities. I appreciated the video and online guide and referred to it often during the first few days as we settled in. Whenever I had a question or concern, the response from the Juniper Rental team was immediate and the issue was……
