“A one bedroom Bayview room was great, next to the bay, clean unit. Richard was very responsive to our need and in communication. My only wish was the very old elevator that needs renovation, specially the floor. And one of the building entry locks need fixing. “Our first impression was a porch that needed work, and an entrance door that needed to be replaced. The property could have been better cared for. The room was clean, and the amenities were sufficient. Contact with the host was good, although we did not receive any instructions until we got there. The neighborhood itself was once very nice, but has certainly degenerated over time; we did not feel completely comfortable as there was much police activity in the area including a knock on our door……

I aim to be unbiased, but this stay was disappointing, and I hope this helps others avoid a similar experience. To preface, my mother missed the pet fee when booking, but we resolved it on-site, so that’s irrelevant. After a 14hr drive, my mother, wife, and I arrived late with our dog, having informed the host earlier. We were ready to rest, but within five minutes, we were told we couldn’t……

“This was a very clean property from the floors to the kitchen to the linens. It comfortably fit our family of 4 with two teenage daughters. The apartment is located on the third floor so we ended up just brining up essentials and not our suitcases. Communication was fantastic - sending all the info well before check-in. There is coin laundry in the basement. The parking is also wonderful and easy to access.”
