“Went to celebrate my birthday & this was the perfect place! Lots of parking available for guests. There was a bbq grill but it was not working so we had to resort to cooking burgers inside. When cooking inside the place got too warm and smoky but the house had no screen windows or patio screen to air out the place! If we opened doors or windows there was a lot of flies/insects coming inside. Other than ventilation this place was awesome! Will book again during warmer months to enjoy the lake.……

“Just as the name says - a cosy cottage at the lake! We were pleasantly surprised to find that the host had decorated the cottage for Christmas - even had a Christmas tree! They also supplied ample fire wood to have the indoor fire place going all day and well into the evenings. Great experience. Thank you.”

While staying at this Excellent Lakeview cottage we experienced a quiet serenity within the area, a great view of the lake, space for outdoor and indoor activities, and everything you could need for cooking multiple diverse meals. “We enjoyed our time at the cottage as we were evacuated due to wildfires in the NT. It was a little cozier than we thought as the two bunk beds are supposed to sleep 8 of the 12 guests and an air mattress for the other 2. But there isn’t any room for the air mattress except in the living room between the couches so you have to put it up and down each night. The view was amazing and the sunsets beautiful. It was too bad that there were two water advisories so we couldn’t go in the water but it……

“Jocelyn was exceptionally responsive to our every question and need, and she was an absolute delight to deal with. The new hot tub was lovely, but it was not chemically up to par yet to actually enjoy. I have every confidence she'll work with her hot tub guy and get it crystal clear! The listing said there would be coffee and firewood available, but there wasn't, but no big deal. Overall the home provided all that we needed for a great get-away.”

“This cottage is beautifully decorated and set up. It is next to the public pier and the market so it’s very convenient to pick up ingredients that you may have forgotten. There are two large trees in front providing shade which is a precious feature on the beach. We brought kayaks and were able to visit the nesting terns and the yellow-headed blackbirds in the reeds. The water in the taps has quite a strong sulphuric smell but a water cooler is provided by the property. We would definitely visit……

Amazing sunset! Bit tricky to locate once you’re off the hwy. Map apps couldn’t pin point. Owner was easy to reach and helped us out.”
