Anniversary Get Away

Really enjoyed our stay at the Marshmellow House. Firepit was awesome and the little creek was nice to drink coffee by in the mornings.

Peaceful

Peaceful secluded property. Romantic, quaint cottage in a quiet setting. Bedroom and outdoor sitting area near the creek made for a romantic and peaceful stay.

Exterior pictures are really out of date. Inside was clean and as pictured but house itself needs work.

Cozy Stay and very private/quiet

It was a nice stay and very unique. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The photos make the place look a bit newer than it is which was fine but we were expecting the place to be much more updated than it was. It still was great and really cozy. Our dog liked the area to run around and the neighbors were very far so it was private and quiet. We liked the smores but there were no smores sticks so we had to go get those which the store is pretty close so no biggie. The fire place area is fantastic! We have stayed at the BNB properties before and will continue to do so, they are managed well!

Peaceful....

I enjoyed letting my Bassett hound out for a walk every morning. He would jump around and explore and drink from the creek and enjoy himself...very nice..

Very cozy stay

The property was in a nice area right off the blue ridge parkway! It was cozy and very clean. It is in the woods, so roads are gravel and no street lights. However, it was still a very nice property. It was clean and the owner was easy to contact. If you want a get away to the mountains I would recommend the marshmallow!

Great Place!

This was such a wonderfully unusual property! Very secluded, nicely stocked with immediate needs and just lovely. The little creek running through the property right by the master bedroom just so relaxing. Unfortunately it rained the entire stay so we never got to make use of the beautiful fire pit, but it looked SO nice. We may even come back for another stay when the weather is better. We would definitely recommend this property if you are looking for peace and quiet and a great nights sleep in beautiful surroundings!

A feeling of Serenity

We booked The Toasted Marshmallow for my mother's 60th birthday getaway w her friends. It absolutely perfect. Every expectation was met to its fullest. It's was nestled in a mountain and the view was amazing. It gave a feeling of peace and relaxation. We spent an entire day there just relaxing and soaking in the coziness it offered.
