"The cabin was great! The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with dinnerware, utensils, toiletries, etc. This was the best stocked rental I have ever stayed at. There were actually 6 beds instead of 4 which was a pleasant surprise although there were bunks and then 2 others were in a loft area. Some updated pictures of the cabin to include this would be helpful. The outdoor area was great for a fire and a few games with a pretty view of the lake. There was not a lot of communication from the property manager but we had no concerns with this as everything was ready for us. "

"I stayed here while I was visiting The Nations Glory Barn in Waldorf. It is the coziest little cottage. Loved taking walks around the property too. They keep it very clean and it had everything I needed. The owners were very nice and always got back to me in a timely manner. I would love to stay again sometime! :)"

"Our extended family had a fun 5 night stay on Madison Lake. We had 6 adults and 4 kids. There is a large game room with a pool table, ping pong, fooseball, keyboard, and a variety of games and toys, and a 2nd fridge. The kitchen is large and well stocked with pots and pans and dishes galore, and a Kuerig coffee machine. They even provided some snacks, waters, and a couple bottles of wine! What a nice surprise! We enjoyed time by the lake having a fire in the fire pit and playing corn hole toss. We went kayaking few times - we were surprised to see 7 kayaks! One day we used 6 kayaks together. We swam off the dock - its pretty shallow and sandy bottom, some seaweed, but not bad. I had a good communication line with Dorothy and any questions or needs were responded to immediately. She stopped by the first day to introduce herself and make sure we had everything we needed. Jerry is super nice too. The kids loved having so much room to play inside. We spent quite a bit of time painting at the easels - such a great setup! I brought some watercolor paper and paints, and a couple of the kids spent hours each day painting. 2 BRs are upstairs - I got the room with a sun room overlooking the lake - it was so peaceful! There is a 2nd BR upstairs with a shared bath, 1 BR off the kitchen with ensuite bath, and an 'apartment' downstairs with 2 beds, a living area and full bath. The bedding was really nice, with soft brushed cotton sheets and soft fluffy blankets.Great spot, super hosts."

"We had a wonderful stay at this cozy little cabin on the lake. Thoughtfully designed, it included everything we needed for a comfortable visit. Inside, the classic Minnesota cabin aesthetic came through beautifully—plenty of pine tongue-and-groove paneling and charming wildlife decor set the tone.What really surprised me was the variety of waterfowl on the lake. As a lifelong Minnesotan, I spotted several birds I couldn’t even identify, which says something!I titled this a "Diamond in the Rough" because the neighborhood was an "Antique Roadshow" of RVs and small cabins. This doesn't take anything away from the experience since the cabin is oriented toward the lake. If you are looking for a relaxing stay by the lake, this is a good choice. We will be back the next time we need to decompress."

"Property is under new management and undergoing updating and renovations. All of this considered found my stay extremely enjoyable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We'll definitely stay here again and look forward. To seeing how things improve over time."
