"Very clean and cozy. There were plenty of activities both inside and out to keep us occupied.Kitchen was stocked with everything we could need to cook whatever we brought with us. Spices, coffees and teas were readily available. Children really enjoyed the kayaks, puzzles, loft and bunkhouse."

"Surprisingly quiet considering closeness to freeway and vehicles right outside the door. Unfortunately the Irving lights from behind were shining in through the bathroom window at night and then the sun in the morning. Great friendly staff, Amanda checked us in. "The location is perfect, right on the lake with a private dock. The screened in porch gets you bug free evenings to listen to the sound of the lake after sunset. This is a lake camp. Tidy and comfortable. Rustic yet functional."

"This was such a fun experience. My husband and I had a road trip up the east coast. We aren't big campers and this was a great way to get a bit more of a rustic experience without a tent. But yes, you take a canoe to the island. It takes 5 minutes. No electricity, so be prepared for a camp stove ..."
