“We really enjoyed our stay at Rubblestone Cottage. The cottage was warm and comfortable, with everything we needed. A cosy living room with a window that looks over the meadow, which allows you to watch the visiting wildlife. Main bedroom was very spacious and the bed was comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare food and the owner provides a great list of pubs, restaurants and takeaways. “The caravan was very clean on arrival. The host had left cleaning products for us. The beds were made and also extra bedding. Clean towels were available. The host called before we arrived to let us know she had left ice lollies for the children and some crisps. There was also things like ready meals, tea, coffee, sugar and sauces. Also a bbq to use. ”

“We booked last minute to get out of the bustle of the city. Suzanne and John were really thoughtful in sharing that there was unexpected roadwork outside the cottage, giving us the opportunity to find another place to stay but we decided to go ahead and are so glad that we did. The cottage is comfortable and quaint with all the amenities you need to relax. The cottage is walking distance to local cafes, restaurants, and bars. “Disgusting!!! Avoid at all cost. Upon arrival the caravan stunk There was mould in the fridge with leftover food which had also gone mouldy Wee in the toilet No gas/water/electric upon arrival we had to wait for the owner to.tell us how to plumb this... after 2.5 hours of waiting. The oven had no shelves for us to cook and only 1 hob worked. We decided to leave within 3 hours of being there once we found alternative arrangement. The owner refused to refund our 3 night stay aswell deeming it……

“It was just myself, my Husband and my 12 yesr old Grandson. The cottage was lovely. Very comfortable and homely. It had a warm and welcoming feel about it. Very close to shops and a short walk to the beach. Spotlessly clean and everything provided by the host for a perfect stay. We hope to go back again very soon.”
