“We had a great stay at this rental. While the outside of the home needs some TLC, the inside was great. The kitchen was well stocked with all the necessary cooking supplies and spices. They provided food storage containers, extra paper towels & toilet paper, laundry soap, and two coffee stations with lots of coffee pods. “While our visit to the area was for a sad reason, to attend a funeral in Perham, we still thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Marion Lake Lodge. The property, lake, and home are beautiful and worked great for our family (4 bedrooms for 7 adults). The location was very convenient, only about a 10 minute drive to Perham and the home had everything we needed. The hosts were wonderful and answered all of our questions promptly. “Very private and quiet. The cabin was clean and comfy. It was perfect for just us 2 adults and our 2 dogs. The scenery was lovely and the porch was a great place to sit and read.The only thing I would suggest is maybe some more basic cooking spices be provided and the grill wasn't working when we stayed, although we loved using the blackstone in it's place anyway so that wasn't a big deal for us. We would definitely book this cabin again. ”

We spent time exploring the nearby Trolls and the boys tried some fishing from shore.This is a property we would highly recommend and would love to return to. One note - we had an email from the management company asking us to sign a waiver that contained terms that far exceeded what is permitted by VRBO (access at any time with no advance notice!) We did not sign and it was not an issue. ”

“Perfect spot for a summer getaway! The beach at this property was amazing for the kids to swim because it’s so shallow and the adults were able to relax on the deck and watch them swim. The lake is beautiful with clear water and great fishing by the reeds. Our host responded quickly to all of the questions we had and was very accommodating to make sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Would highly recommend this property!”

“The cleanliness issue we noticed was the inside of the drawers and fridge,freezer. Alot of animal hair under the table and dirt on the headrest of hot tub. The host was great - other than the description when we booked said there was an elevator, the one main reason we booked for our 84 yo mother. The view and lake were amazing!!! The hot tub was super fun. What a great amenity. The no see ums were terrible so it was tough outside but that's everywhere, not just here. Over all the space……
