"We really enjoyed our stay. 10 minute walk to the ocean. Beautiful view from the living room and the bedroom. The house was fully stocked with everything you could think of or need. Very thoughtful in the what the host provided for your stay be comfortable. We loved the beach vibe and the fireplace really made it cozy. I loved how it was private, but not too far away from town. Best Western Plus Humboldt Bay Inn

8/10 Good

"We had king bed with small couch that was not real comfortable. Nice crown molding and nice 54" flat screen tv. Water got in under the paint in the bathroom and there were vertical bubbles. The Oasis pool/hot tub/fire pit area was one of the most amazing amenities we have ever encountered. The breakfast area was part of the Oasis. Breakfast was good but needed more variety and hot foods were Luke warm. All three days we were there they served breakfast potatoes, sausage links and scrambled eggs. Potatoes had a bad taste like they were made in old oil. Breakfast was inferior to most places we stay. ALL staff we encountered were super friendly. There was lots of remodeling and exterior painting going on. They obviously work hard to keep the property up."

"Staff was friendly and helpful, pace was fully renovated one year ago. Nicely done as well. All brand new furniture and fresh paint, new bathrooms. Very nice stay and served our travel purposes well. Thoughtful amenities like coffee and tissues were in the room. Highly recommend this property; I’d like to see these people succeed. They are even building a restaurant! Not open yet but really a gem to find in a world of chains!! Bravo!!"

"The property is very cool. Super historic! So many cool things to look at when you walk around and explore! Parking is great and locked at night! The pool is pretty and clean! And our room was well maintained for such an old property! When we checked in though the front desk didnt think to refresh her computer and told us our bank accounts were overdrawn when they weren't. So that was unnecessarily stressful and frustrating. We got woken up at 6am by a clock radio and then again by construction at 7am across the street. Half of the breakfast hot items the provided needed an air fryer in the heat instructions but there wasn't an air fryer provided. But the other items were yummy."

"Lovely property and perfect for our family! The property is very clean and very comfortable. It is larger than pictured and gave everyone plenty of space. Our toddler granddaughter loved the outside fenced space and the toys & books!The kitchen was clean, well stocked and the appliances are all in good shape. Lovely views of pastoral farm life. This is one of the best properties we've stayed in through VRBO! Thank you to the hosts!"
