"Very easy checking/out. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Amazing toiletries (hand soap/body wash/ shampoo). Only one negative - the toilet was hard to flush. The floater was bent so that the tank only filled half way. Told the staff as I left and they were thankful for the info. Overall would stay again."

"I have stayed in this hotel during both the winter and summer seasons, and let me say that I would come back here every time I visit Fernie BC. The staff is always extremely welcoming and friendly. Frederica (apologies if the spelling is incorrect) was very helpful and very friendly. With a big smile on her face she told me all the summer activities that were happening during my stay. The room was very clean (as always) and the bed was like a dream! super comfortable to lay on after a long couple of hours of driving. The location of the hotel is on the main road but only a 5min drive to downtown Fernie, maybe a 7min walk if you take in the sites....which you will because Fernie is gorgeous! Now the best part is the hot tub. After a long day of site seeing, shopping and vibing around, what more can you ask for then a private, clean, quiet, hot tub. It starts with booking your private time slot and going in and enjoying every second! If you are looking for a low key, cozy, affordable, friendly, clean and all in all great hotel, then look no further than Hotel Snow Valley Lodging. Hats off to the staff!"

"Hotel was very nice and clean. We were there at the end of May/start of June so understandably it was the off season. So, limited options for food on the property. The pool was great and hot tub was nice and hot but the jets didn’t work. Overall we did love it there and will definitely be back to stay."

"This was by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had. The moment we walked into the room, we were hit with a terrible smell that made it obvious the room had not been properly cleaned or maintained. The entire room felt dirty, run-down, and neglected. The bed wasn't even made properly, which immediately made us question whether the linens had been changed at all. There were visible signs of poor housekeeping throughout the room, and the overall condition was unacceptable. The hotel itself was in just as bad of shape as the room. Everything felt worn out, dirty, and poorly cared for. We had booked this hotel expecting a clean and comfortable place to stay, but what we found was completely different. The condition of the property was so bad that we did not feel comfortable spending even a single night there. We ended up cancelling our stay and paying for another hotel because there was no way we were going to sleep in those conditions. I am not someone who normally leaves negative reviews, but people deserve to know what they are paying for. Basic cleanliness should be the minimum standard for any hotel, and this property failed miserably. It was shocking that rooms in this condition were being rented out to guests. Save yourself the disappointment, frustration, and wasted money and book somewhere else."
