“My husband, our two dogs, and I got away from the hustle and bustle of Chicago to enjoy our time in the woods. The cabin was perfect for our family and was just the right size. Never felt too crowded. We roasted marshmallows and hot dogs on the fire pit and enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. The cabin was just isolated enough that we let our dogs run around off leash and enjoy. My only complaint is the size of the bed was a bit small and firm. Nancy was great to communicate with and very responsive.……

“We stayed the week of July 15-22 and loved this property. We had 6 adults and our 2 granddaughters, ages 22 months and 15 months. The gigantic yard was perfect for the grandkids, and we had a pontoon and small fishing boat along, so we appreciated the dock. The house itself was very clean with an open floorplan, and stocked with coffee, dishwasher and laundry soaps, a high chair and pack n play, and many other necessities. We enjoyed fishing from the dock and playing lots of yard games. I would……

“A great little place on a nice small lake. Selling point and most fun of the weekend was using kayaks and rowboat. Only 20 minutes to Gaylord. Nearby Otsego Lake State Park for beach fun. “This property served myself and my girlfriend perfectly for a little getaway! The home itself was awesome and cozy, the area was quiet which was enjoyable, the drive to Traverse City wasn’t bad at all if you’re looking for more to do. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to make our own meals, and the Fire Lake Inn food was very delicious for eating out of the home. The only two complaints I could possibly have (nitpicking here) were that the Heat/AC unit was pretty noisy at……

“We brought our 16 year old daughter and a few of her friends for the weekend to celebrate her sweet 16. We had high hopes for better weather, but it's Michigan- so you never know what you're going to get! The place is very clean and Barn is a delight to communicate with. It is a little rustic, but it has a nice cabin charm to it. Nothing to complain about other than the rain!”
