“The property was a delight. It is nestled in the trees, with great trails and is nice and quiet. It's easy to get to and close to 35W. The pictures depict the property perfectly and the kitchen has everything you need to cook.”

“Stay was good. It’s a large home. My complaints would be we had to knock down a hornets nest on the back deck. Also it’s very weedy around the property. Just tons of bees and wasps around outside in the tall weeds. I’m highly allergic along with another guest so taking care of that wasn’t fun.”

“We rented this beautiful house on the lake for a quick winter getaway with the family. Great place for ice fishing, close to restaurants and town but quiet in a wooded area too:) The sauna and fireplace were wonderful after a cold day on the ice. Had some great famiky time playing ping pong too! Bunk house was great, can fit alot of people. We look forward to staying here again! Thank you!”

“My partner and I enjoyed a winter weekend getaway at Whispering Pines and can’t wait to book another visit! The cabin is cozy - we especially loved the fireplace and sauna. We also enjoyed cooking in the nice kitchen and there’s nothing quite like eating with a beautiful lake view! The local grocery store was a short 8 minute drive away and we also enjoyed stopping for dinner at Doc’s, a local fave. With the golf course a short walk down the road, we’ll definitely book a stay in the summer to……

“Hello, The house itself is nice, the location very convenient for our purpose. The house has been redecorated partially, new bathroom, partially new kitchen. The upper floor has one main usable bedroom, and a second room which is not refurbished and sealed off for access a bit strangely, so it leaves a not-so-nice impression. The house has a front porch which is maintained. The back porch is actually nicer to use, but it was in a poor condition and the surroundings not taken care of, also……

“For us who have never been to Mille Lacs, or even to that area, it was difficult and time consuming to find information needed to know what to pack for this trip. It was helpful to read information from your ring binder inside the cabin, so thank you for that, but it would be great to know ahead of time. For example: 1 This is located at McQuoid's Resort. The VRBO site makes it look like a private residence so I was surprised to see it was part of McQuoids. It is half a house, not a whole house……
