「Very spacious, nice and clean property. We were a family group of 13 with 7 children and it was quite comfortable for us. We used 4 spacious bedrooms and there was a large loft as well with 10 single mattresses which we didn't use. You have to drive 12km up in the mountains on a very well maintained bandy road with beautiful views and through few tunnels. 「The house was a bit small for a group of 7. I can't imagine 9 people. The WiFi password would not work and it seemed the LAN cable for connecting to the internet was missing. She made some amazing recommendations for everything from restaurants to a good experienced guide for paragliding in the valley! 「Great Bear is a lovely chalet with breathtaking views in a unique environment. I cannot think of a better summer escape, given the stunning surroundings of the Val Hérens, the local cuisine, produce, meat products, and delicious wines. The chalet fits the rustic character of the tiny village perfectly, while affording the necessary comforts for an Alpine stay. Absolutely LOVED IT!!!」

「We had a wonderful stay in this apartment between Christmas and New Year. The apartment is well located beside slope 3, and therefore a short walk/pole ski to the piste in the morning and then a short ski down to a convenient chairlift to access the slopes. With the advantages of ski in/out it does mean that the apartment is a 10 minute walk down the hill into town (and back up) for restaurants and groceries. The apartment itself is newly redecorated with comfortable furnishings and bedrooms....
